1992 Dodge Stealth R/t Turbo Hatchback 2-door 3.0l on 2040-cars
Lincolnton, North Carolina, United States
Up for sale, 1992 Stealth twin turbo, AWD, AWS. Car is a 5 speed manual, has power everything. Power windows, power locks, cruise control, power lumbar (driver seat only), key less entry and hatch release, alarm sys, pop up headlights, and yes all of it works properly. I bought this car last year and it did not have power steering, a few months ago the turbo seals blew and had a vacuum leak. All those issues have been addressed, so no worries. Well here's a list of everything that's been replaced and a few of the goodies:
-rebuild turbos (new seals, bearings, etc.) -New felpro lower and upper intake gaskets -Felpro injector o-rings -Felpro throttle body gasket -NGK iridium plugs -New plug wires -Gates timing belt -Gates component kit w/ new hydraulic tensioner -New idle servo motor -3SX billet aluminum crank pulley -New driver side window regulator -New p/s and alt belt tensioners with mitsubishi belts -Light weight flywheel -Replaced transfer case (Recall) -2 peice PTS carbon fiber drive shaft -ATR 3" Exhaust -Greddy recirc BOV -K&N intake w/ 3sx bracket -TEC perfromance front and rear strut bars -TR Motorsports C3's w/ Pirelli P-Zero Nero's (still have lots of tread) -Drilled brake rotors (front and rear) -Hawk HP+ pads (have and extra set) -Eibach lowering springs -Brand new parking brake shoes -Sony Japan Dbl minidisc/CD player with remote Now, for the down falls. The car is 21 years old, the passenger side rear quarter panel has some dents and scratches from one of the previous owners. The paint still shines bright especially after being washed, but it could use a respray and a nice clear coat. The drivers seat is torn on the bottom cushion. As of right now it's my daily driver so the mileage will go up about 40-50 miles a day. It has a slight miss under very light throttle, don't exactly know what it could be as I drive it every day I haven't taken the time to look into it. The car is mostly stock other than the few little bolt on's and its still and super fast and amazing machine. It doesn't smoke at all and the car sounds absolutely amazing. Not in a big hurry to sell it but im looking to find something different. If you have any questions please feel free to contact me, my name is Anthony. 704- five three zero- 3685 Car is sold as is, buyer is responsible for pickup/ shipping Low Reserve! Thanks for looking |

2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat with '600-plus horsepower' officially unveiled [w/video]
Tue, 20 May 2014Dodge has officially unveiled the most powerful vehicle to ever wear the Challenger name - the SRT Hellcat - complete with over 600 horsepower courtesy of a supercharged, 6.2-liter Hemi V8. It will be offered alongside the 485-hp Challenger SRT.
The new, force-induced V8 isn't just the most powerful ever fitted to the Challenger, it's the most powerful eight-cylinder Chrysler Group has ever built. Power figures aren't finalized, so expect to see "over 600 hp" bandied about quite a lot. That fury will be channeled through either a six-speed manual or eight-speed automatic. Yes, over 600 ponies through an eight-speed auto. So far, the only vehicle we know of that delivers more output through that many gears is the as-yet untested Chevrolet Corvette Z06. Sadly, we don't have performance metrics just yet, although if this thing can't crack four seconds to 60 miles per hour, we'll be pretty surprised.
As is the theme nowadays, the 2015 Challenger SRT features a number of driving modes, governing power output, shift speeds for the 8AT, steering effort, traction control settings and suspension settings. There are three pre-programmed options - Default, Sport and Track - and a Custom mode that allows drivers to mix and match to their heart's content.
Chrysler teases upcoming outlay of SEMA cars
Wed, 15 Oct 2014Fiat Chrysler Automobiles is hauling a multitude of modified models to the annual SEMA show in Las Vegas this November, and the company is releasing the first teasing sketches of many of them.
Unfortunately, FCA isn't giving many solid details on any of the concepts other than saying the vehicles from Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, Ram and Fiat all benefit from tuning from its Mopar performance brand. The teaser photos include a sinister-looking Chrysler 200S, Fiat 500 Abarth with two-tone paint and a scorpion on the hood, a red and black 500L, seemingly two different takes on the Jeep Renegade, a green Dodge Challenger wearing the T/A badge, an orange and black Dart, a very neon Charger, just the outline of a red and black Viper, a Ram ProMaster in Mopar livery and a Ram pickup called the Outdoorsman.
Take a look through the gallery to see what you think of the sketches for these concepts, and scroll down for the full announcement from FCA.
eGarage interviews a couple with 65 Vipers
Thu, 12 Sep 2013Owning multiple vehicles can be a hassle worth enjoying if you're willing to spend the time and the money required to acquire and maintain them. But when it's hard to make ends meet while underused valuable hunks of metal, plastic and rubber sit happily taking up garage space, journeys into the depths of other people's well-developed automotive obsessions will either bring you and your cars closer together, or compel you to sell them off before you become one of those fanatics. A recent video by eGarage is one of those journeys, and it's not for the faint of heart: D'Ann and Wayne Rauh own 65 Dodge and SRT Vipers in a collection of automobiles that exceeds 100.
We're not sure if the couple has developed heat-resistant calves from stepping over Viper door sills made burning-hot by side-exhaust pipes, but we wouldn't be surprised if they did. We did learn that their obsession with the no-holds-barred sports car started in 2006 with a trip to a dealership to buy just one Viper, which goes to show how innocently car obsessions can start. But the Rauhs seem to be doing just fine - perhaps better - 64 more Vipers later.
Watch the video below for the full story and to see what eGarage claims is the world's largest Viper collection.
