2006 Dodge Viper Srt-10 Coupe - No Reserve!!! - Highly Modified Show Car Winner on 2040-cars
Clearwater, Florida, United States
2006 Dodge Viper SRT-10 coupe 1 of 117 coupes made in 2006 that were black with no stripes My Viper won 1st Place Best Domestic at FL2K 2013. It has also been featured by HRE and Stance:Nation. Body has 45,xxx miles. Motor only has 3,000 miles on it. Mileage will change slightly as I do drive it on the weekends. This car has over $25,000 in aftermarket modifications. With the mixture of the blacked out car and Snakeskin Green accents, this car is a real head turner...as if a stock Viper wasn't enough. The paint was professionally wet sanded and buffed 2 months ago, so the paint looks fantastic! The car sounds and drives just as good as it looks. If you want a quiet car, this is not the car for you...it sounds the way a Viper should sound! Before I bought the car, there was an insurance claim for $1200 back in 2010 to have the front bumper replaced (CarFax report attached in pictures). I bought the car stock 2 years ago with 39,xxx miles on it and the car now has 45,xxx miles on it. All the modifications have been done within the last 3,000 miles when the motor was rebuilt due to #3/4 rod bearing failure. This car needs nothing! No expenses have been spared to make this Viper stand out from the rest. The car has been used as my weekend driver on nice days and driven to car events. I just took it to the drag strip for the first time on Sunday and ran a 11.70 @ 124mph with a 1.9 60' in 90 degree humid Florida...this car has a lot more in it! Exterior Modifications:

Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat ringtone revs up [w/video]
Wed, 30 Jul 2014The best (or worst, depending on your views) thing about smartphones is that you're able to carry lots, and lots of useful stuff around in your pocket. That means you can always have a phone, messaging service, email, flashlight, calculator, dictionary, encyclopedia, and literally thousands of other things on your person at all times. Now, we can add one more thing for you to carry about in your little slab of aluminum, glass and plastic - a Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat.
Now, you obviously can't carry around a 707-horsepower muscle car around in your pocket. That'd be ridiculous, impractical and uncomfortable. You can, however, carry around the noise made by said muscle car's 6.2-liter, supercharged Hemi V8, thanks to a new, free-to-download ringtone from the folks at Dodge and SRT.
We can't embed the ringtone here, so if you'd like to hear exactly how it'll sound when your phone goes off, you'll need to head over to the SRT Hellcat's page. If that's more trouble than it's worth, the same ringtone was attached to a tiny speaker on the press kit for the mighty Challenger, and was captured on video by our own Seyth Miersma (don't worry, he's already been soundly dressed down for shooting a video in portrait mode).
Dodge CEO and Gas Monkey Garage dissect the 10-second Challenger Hellcat
Fri, 11 Jul 2014So far, whenever we've seen the 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT with its 707-horsepower, supercharged Hellcat V8, the muscle car has been smoking its tires. Dodge is finally proving that the SRT can do more than ruin perfectly good sets of rubber, though. In it's latest video, company CEO Tim Kuniskis hands the Hellcat off to the guys from Gas Monkey Garage to show how quickly the automaker's most powerful model can make it down the drag strip.
Of course, the only fitting contender to race against Dodge's latest top muscle car is its grandpa - a Hemi-powered 1971 Challenger, in this case. Before getting to the main event, the hosts also show off some of the SRT's unique features like the blanks in the grille that feed the intercoolers. We'll go ahead and spoil that the Hellcat makes its pass in the 10-second range, and the video admits the tires on the production version would take just a touch longer to cover the quarter-mile. However, you have to watch film to see just how quick it actually goes. Scroll down to see a classic example of American muscle drag racing against its modern legacy.
South Dakota dealer filled to brim with classic cars
Wed, 12 Mar 2014Other than the Sturgis Motorcycle Rally and Mount Rushmore, South Dakota isn't generally a hot topic, but that just means that cool stuff can hide in the open waiting to be discovered. Case in point: the classic car dealer Frankman Motor Company that operates three locations in Sioux Falls, SD.
Unearthed by the folks at Bring a Trailer, Frankman is a treasure trove of vintage, American iron. Their collection is full of the type of vehicles your irresponsible but cool uncle would show up with when you were a kid. Even better, these cars are priced at a level a working man can afford.
If you are lusting about a cruiser then Frankman has a 1956 Cadillac Deville Hard Top Sedan (pictured right) with 82,896 miles for $12,975. It's painted a color called Cascade Grey, but looks more like a pastel purple in pictures. While it needs some repairs to the accessories, the Caddy runs and drives, which is all you really need.
