2008 DODGE VIPER COUPE in SNAKESKIN GREEN!

ONLY 11,571 MILES.

I am a small private dealer; and I purchased this vehicle for my personal use.  So this will be considered private seller since I have it registered under my name and not to the dealer.

I've put roughly 2,xxx miles on the car, Vehicle has never had problems, runs and drives perfect.  This is definitely an eye catcher!  You will get stares EVERYTIME!  The only mods that I have done was to paint the wheels and gas cap.  (I am not a fan of chrome on something as sporty as this; wheels are clean, tires are in great shape with plenty of treads left.)

Vehicle has a rebuilt Arkansas title.  Purchased as 'repaired and ready to go'.  I am in no hurry to sale, but wanting to generate some cash for inventory.

NOT ACCEPTING TRADES!!! So please do not ask!!!

Please serious inquiries only.  Do not waste my time with low ball offers.  Vehicle is listed on forums and as well as locally, so I reserve the right to end auction at anytime.

Thanks and happy biddings.

These cars are headed to the Great Crusher In The Sky

Fri, 24 Aug 2012

It happens every year. We bid adieu to some cars and trucks that will be missed, and say good riddance to others wondering how they stayed around so long. Whether they're being killed off for slow sales or due to a new product coming along to replace them, the list of vehicles being discontinued after 2012 is surprisingly long and diverse.
CNN Money has compiled a list of departing vehicles, to which we've added a few more of our own. In the slow sales column, cars like the Lexus HS 250h, Mercedes-Benz R-Class and the full Maybach lineup appear, while the Ford Escape Hybrid, Mazda CX-7 and Hyundai Veracruz are all having their gaps filled with more modern and more fuel-efficient alternatives. Obvious exceptions to the rule include models that still sell in decent numbers like the Jeep Liberty and the Chrysler Town & Country (which will eventually be replaced by a crossover-like vehicle).
Check out our gallery of discontinued cars above, then scroll down for more information.

Help find Kenny Wayne Shepherd's stolen 1972 Dodge Charger

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Judging by his collection of cars, blues musician Kenny Wayne Shepherd (shown above, at left, with fellow musician George Thorogood) is an enthusiast of classic Dodge muscle cars, so it's no surprise that he is an active member of Mopar-related online communities. When his 1972 Dodge Charger turned up missing from an LA-area warehouse last Wednesday, Shepherd took to the forums of Moparts.org in an attempt to get the word out in hopes of recovering his custom classic.
The Charger was stolen along with four other vehicles, and Hot Rod reports that two women have been taken into custody since - but still no word on the car. With its blacked-out appearance (including custom Foose wheels), this car is definitely hard to miss, but Shepherd also said that the car might be even more distinguishable now due to some body damage that may have occurred as it was being driven from the warehouse lot. Shepherd's website has a full gallery of images for this '72 Charger, which also has a modern 392-cubic-inch V8 under the hood and a six-speed gearbox pulled from a Viper.
If you're in the LA area and happen to see this car, Shepherd asks that you call the LAPD West Valley Division at 818-374-7611. Here's to hoping this one-of-a-kind Charger turns up unscathed.

Chrysler extends fuel tank warranties on LX cars, NHTSA ends probe

Tue, 18 Feb 2014

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has ended its investigation of 153,817, 5.7-liter and 6.1-liter Hemi V8-powered 2006 Chrysler 300, Dodge Charger and Dodge Magnum models after reports of stalling. Chrysler has responded by granting a lifetime warranty on the fuel tanks for these vehicles.
NHTSA received 299 reports of engines stalling while the models were stopped or driving at low speeds, and began an investigation. The government agency found that the control valve shutoff float in the V8s' 19-gallon fuel tank could malfunction if the fuel had too high of an ethanol content. In many cases, the valve would break in the open position, allowing the tank to be overfilled, which would then cause the cars to stall. However, there were no accidents reported, and the vehicles could be restarted immediately.
There will not be a recall on these vehicles because, "the condition represents a low risk to motor vehicle safety and is adequately addressed by Chrysler's extended warranty," NHTSA said to The Detroit News.
