2002 Ferrari 360 F1 Spider
17,071 original miles
Full Timing Belt Service just completed!
60% Clutch measurement
Carfax is clean and shows 3 owners.
The third owner purchased in 2005 with 2,500 miles.

  Traded in last month at a dealership in Naples, Florida.  We had this car serviced immediately which included the timing belt replacement and official measurement of the clutch.  We have been selling on ebay for 15 years with a perfect reputation.  Over 600 transactions with feedback both buying and selling.  So in that spirit, allow me to share with you what you really want to know about this Ferrari.

A list of issues that keep this car from being perfect:

* The dash and airbag leather is loose when not in the sun.  Park the car is direct sunlight for an hour or so and it tightens right up.  This is from being exposed to the Florida sun for an extended period of time.
* The car has never been in an accident but has required a few panels to be repainted due to cosmetic issues.  I don't know why specifically they were painted but my trained eye can see the subtle details and I would be happy to point them out to you.  Otherwise, you would never notice them.  The quality of the work and color match is as good as I have ever seen. Again, no previous damage history.
* The stainless rear muffler has discolored to a more yellow hue.
* The leather straps which hold the tool kit in the front trunk are worn.  Just like my favorite belt!

  Now here are the factory options included:

* Challenge Grilles front and back
* Ferrari Badges (yellow badges on front fenders)
* Power Daytona Seats
* Contrasting Stitching (light grey) over Black Leather
* Red Calipers
* Automated Manual F1 Transmission
* Glass Bonnet (exposes engine when read deck lid is closed)
* 6 Disc CD changer

 Non-factory options or upgrades:

* Clear bra on the front bumper, we just removed the clear bra from the leading edge of the hood.  No chips or marks there!
* Tires have obviously been replaced with all four being matched now and measurements of 85% or better using a gauge.
* New rear window just installed.  Original was cloudy and wrinkled permanently.
* We know the shop in Naples who maintained this car for the previous owner for the last 6 years and 11k miles.  Those records are available.

  I seriously doubt you need all the factory specifications if you are considering a $100k purchase!  If however you need anything feel free to reach out to us.  Just before listing this I searched ebay and found 33 Ferrari 360 Spiders offered.  I would estimate there are around 70-100 360 Spiders with 10k -20k miles offered in the open market at any time.  With over 25 years of personal experience in the highline market and as an owner of a private dealer to dealer online exchange I am very familiar with values relevant to condition.  If you would like to better understand our pricing or make us an offer I would be happy to discuss this with you.   You can also feel free to email us to receive a full set of professional photography taken last week of this car.  Over 75 pictures in all.  With direct relationships with numerous enclosed transport companies we can arrange a very competitive rate.  Never more than $1.00 per mile and as low as .40 cents per mile.

 ***FLORIDA BUYERS***
LOCAL SALES TAX WILL BE COLLECTED IF YOU RESIDE IN FLORIDA
Purchasers from outside of Florida will be required to provide a Bill of Lading proving the car left Florida.

Ferrari F150 Enzo successor is Geneva bound [UPDATE]

Sun, 10 Feb 2013

Ferrari has announced the automaker will debut the company's "most powerful HyperFerrari [sic]" at this year's Geneva Motor Show. The news came courtesy of Instagram, where the Italian automaker posted a familiar-looking rendering with a quick note. Details are still remarkably scarce, though Ferrari says the successor to the Enzo throne will be able to "turn into a corner" as quick as a Formula One car thanks in part to the fact that the road-going machine will feature as much downforce as an F1 competitor. From what we've heard so far, the Enzo replacement will boast over 800 horsepower from the combination of a V12 engine and a HY-KERS system.
We've already heard some interesting tidbits about the new machine, including the fact that each model will come with a driver's seat tailor made for the buyer. Ferrari says we can also expect to see a quicker 0-120 mph sprint than the old Enzo with 40 percent fewer emissions. Stay tuned for live photos from the 2013 Geneva Motor Show.
UPDATE: After some looking into it, Ferrari does not appear to have an official Instagram account, or at least doesn't list one alongside its other official social accounts. We're of the mind now that what appeared on this Instragram is not officially from the Horse's mouth.

What next for Stefano Domenicali?

Tue, 29 Apr 2014

Ferrari is a team that's used to being on top. It does, after all, have more world championships to its name - 15 drivers' titles and 16 constructors' - than any other team in the history of Formula One racing. But despite having some of the best drivers and resources at its disposal, it hasn't won a championship in over five years. Someone had to take the blame for that, and that someone turned out to be Stefano Domenicali.
The team principal who took over after Jean Todt stepped back to focus first on the running of the entire company and then the FIA, Domenicali has presided over the driest spell in the team's history since Michael Schumacher and Ross Brawn arrived in the late 90s to bring Ferrari back to its winning form. Whether that ultimately proves to have been Domenicali's fault or not, the buck stopped on his desk and he resigned a couple of weeks ago, making way for Ferrari's North American chief Marco Mattiacci to take the reins. At least for now, anyway, as rumors circulate of a longer-term solution that could bring Ross Brawn back into the fold following his recent departure from Mercedes.
The big question now, however, is what Domenicali will do next. The latest intel suggests that he could leave four wheels behind but stay in the field of competitive sports to coach an Italian basketball team. The rumors are fueled by reports that Domenicali has been in touch with Giovanni Petrucci, head of the Federazione Italiana Pallacanestro - Italy's national basketball federation. The organization runs two professional basketball leagues within Italy as well as its national team that's won eight international championships, two gold, four silver and four bronze medals in the European league and two silver medals in the Olympics.

Conquest and controversy conclude the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona [spoilers]

Sun, 26 Jan 2014

If you don't wish to know who won the 2014 Rolex 24 at Daytona, you should avert your eyes right now. We'll even give you a double-space to skedaddle...
For those of you still with us, the first race in the United SportsCar Championship (USCC) is done, but the discussions about it certainly won't end for a while. Daytona Prototypes claimed the first four overall places, the top spot taken by the No. 5 Action Express Coyote-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Joao Barbosa, Christian Fittipaldi, Sebastien Bourdain and Burt Friselle. The 16th and final caution of the race bunched the field up for an eight-minute sprint to the flag, so the first place getter finished just 1.4 seconds ahead of the No. 10 Wayne Taylor Racing Dallara-Chevrolet Corvette DP driven by Max Angelelli. Third place went to Brian Friselle in the No. 9 Action Express Chevrolet Corvette DP, 20 seconds down. Chevrolet power hasn't taken the overall win since 2003, eleven years later it scores a one-two-three-four. The No. 6 Muscle Milk/Pickett Racing ORECA-Nissan 03 scored fifth place, the top LMP2 finisher.
The Prototype Challenge class win went to the No. 54 CORE Autosport team of Colin Braun, Jon Bennett, Mark Wilkins and James Gue.
