Description

Selling my V12 GT: a 1998 550 Maranello in Rosso Corase with Pelle Nero (black leather) and red piping. This car was sold new by Classic Autombile of Murnau, Germany, on May 8 1998. It now has done slightly over 57,000 km. This 550 Maranello comes with the rare Fiorano Handling Pack option. The car currently needs a cam belt change. This service is included in the sale price, or the sale price can be adjusted accordingly if the buyer opts to buy the car as-is.

This is an accident-free car with straight body panels and extremely good paintwork. Minor stone chips appear on the front bumper and the lower edge of the bonnet. All accessories work and the car drives as sublime as a 550 should.

The car comes with all tools, manuals and a Ferrari car cover in its original stowage bag. Also included with the car is a Belgian "Certificate of Conformity". Ebay USA does not allow me to list the European VIN, hence the use of 11111111111111111. If you send me a message, I will be happy to supply you with the VIN.

The car is priced to sell at 48,000 Euros. This is a very exquisite car which can be driven and enjoyed as is, and the price includes a cam belt change. All EU taxes have been paid, so the car can be transfered within the European community without any import duties or VAT. The car is currently located in Belgium, but I can arrange worldwide shipping.

The exciting new LaFerrari wasn't all that Ferrari had to announce today at the Geneva Motor Show. Ferrari chairman Luca Di Montezemolo added that the Italian automaker is looking to expand its relationship with Apple in the realm of in-car entertainment, which follows Apple executive Eddy Cue joining the Ferrari board of directors back in November.
According to Bloomberg, Di Montezemolo stated that the Ferrari FF would now come with iPad Minis as a part of the rear-seat entertainment system and Siri integration will be used with the infotainment system. Beyond the FF, though, it isn't clear what type of partnership will blossom between the two most powerful brands on the planet.

There were rain and wind and sun, sometimes all at once. There was the Wall of Champions. There was nothing happening in first place and nothing happening back in sixth during the race, but everywhere else - from the time the weekend began - it was surprises, passes, spins, more passing, flying carbon fiber and finally a couple more last-minute surprises. Join us for a moment in putting on our way-back hats, zeroing in on the late 1980s. Imagine that you're in your bedroom. Look over at the wall across from your bed. What car do you see on the poster? If you're anything like us, it's a Lamborghini Countach - in fact, it's a trio of Lamborghini Countach models in an array of colors. Oh, and there's also a 1:18-scale diecast Countach in black sitting on our dresser with its scissor doors locked in a skyward embrace.
Of course, the Raging Bull wasn't Italy's only great supercar from the 1980s, especially if you cast your lot at the temple of the Prancing Horse. Far from a *ahem* red-headed stepchild, the Testarossa deserves a place in the minds and hearts of '80s supercar fans the world over.
