1984 Ford Mustang Gt Turbo With T-tops - No Reserve on 2040-cars
Wausau, Wisconsin, United States
This car is rare as less than 3,800 of this style were made. I have owned this car since 1991. I used it as my main vehicle through 1999 and have been storing it since then. The vehicle does not currently run. I have typically started the vehicle 1-2 times per year and last had it running late last year. I believe it may need a tune up and some additional mechanical work since it has been stored the past 15 years. It does have a brand new battery. The body has some rust on the bottom of the doors, hatchback, and a small amount near the fenders. Overall it is in fair condition for its age. The interior is in very good condition. The seats are somewhat faded but there are no rips or tears in the upholstery. The top portion of the dash is cracked and in need of repair or replacement. This is a great project care with many original accessories including the retractable hatchback cover, T-top storage bags, Marshall fog light covers, and owner's manual. I did have an Ungo alarm system installed and also installed a new stereo and amplifier. I do have the original stereo which I will include with the sale. I have been storing this in hopes of restoring the vehicle but no longer have the space for it so it is time to pass it on to someone that can enjoy it. |

Race Recap: 2014 Canadian Grand Prix makes its money on the back end
Mon, 09 Jun 2014Momentum. That was the word of the weekend at the last race in Monaco - Nico Rosberg retaking it, Williams getting reacquainted with it and Marussia tasting it for the first time, among other examples. That same, weighted term flew to Canada with the money circus known as Formula One, took all weekend to build and then walloped the front end of the field and the season on Sunday afternoon.
Rosberg carried his Monaco triumph into qualifying, putting his Mercedes AMG Petronas on pole ahead of teammate and reconciled friend Lewis Hamilton. Reigning World Champion Sebastian Vettel finally got the better of Daniel Ricciardo, lining up for Infiniti Red Bull Racing in third ahead of his teammate in sixth, split up by Valtteri Bottas and Felipe Massa in the Williams. Ferrari, having brought numerous aero updates for this race, didn't get the push it was really looking for, Fernando Alonso happy to get seventh ahead of Kimi Räikkönen, still troubled by his F14T, in tenth. Jean-Eric Vergne secured eighth for Toro Rosso, Jenson Button lining up ninth for a still-struggling McLaren.
When the lights went out, Mercedes, Williams and Marussia would all find out how quickly momentum can short circuit or disappear in a sparkly ball of high-speed contact, spilled fluids and tire barriers.
The pre-race and first in-race report from Le Mans
Sat, 22 Jun 2013The 2013, 90th anniversary edition of the 24 Hours of Le Mans has begun, tragedy marking the opening laps with the death of Allan Simonsen. We're at the track now as a guest of Audi and plan to stay through the evening, and even we haven't been able to find out what caused the accident - the only video is from just after the incident, and beyond the statement from ACO there's been no more news. The Aston Martin in the LM GTE Am class and its all-Danish drivers had taken pole in its class and was one of the favorites to win.
The pre-race report will come first, and even thought we can't spoil the race because we're only five hours into it at the time of writing, we'll put all of the news at the end in case you don't even want the updates.

Ferrari LaFerrari is beautifully redundant
Tue, 05 Mar 2013
The successor the Ferrari Enzo has officially bowed. Ferrari pulled the sheets back on the oddly named LaFerrari at the 2013 Geneva Motor Show, calling the machine the "maximum expression" of what defines the automaker. In this case, that includes a 6.3-liter V12 engine with 789 horsepower married to a 160-hp electric motor. The combination is good for a full 949 hp and 663 pound-feet of torque, and Ferrari says the LaFerrari can punch to 62 miles per hour in under three seconds. Keep your foot planted and 124 mph will click by in a scant seven seconds, while top speed sits at a lofty 205 mph.
Engineers turned to a total of four different types of hand-laminatated carbon fiber to create a chassis that's both stiffer and lighter than would have otherwise been possible. With a 41/59 weight distribution, carbon-ceramic brakes and ultra-light calipers, the LaFerrari is unlike anything we've seen from the company to date. The automaker says its creation is the fastest in its long history. You can take a look at the in-depth press release below for more information, and be sure to check out the model's new site here.
