Here is my 1981 Ferrari Mondial Euro model. This is a very early production Mondial. One of the oldest, if not, the oldest numbered Mondial known. It has some features not seen on another Mondial. I have owned this car a long time. I have not used the car in about 6 years now so it's going to need to be restored. The last time I drove it, everything worked and it never let me down. The car has 14000 miles and that is original. Everything is original including the original TRX tires. As I said, the car has not been on the road in 6 years so do not expect to drive it home. I did start the car only a few days ago and it fired right up and still sounds strong. The clutch pedal is loose, it may have happened from sitting so I could not get the car into gear, otherwise, the car would drive. I had a new clutch and slave cly done right before I parked the car and I also had a full service done. I am sure everything now needs to be looked over before you try and drive it. The car looks ok but when you get close you will see It needs new paint. There are some rust areas on the body, however, the underbody is solid. The interior is also original and in ok condition. The headliner is good but it's starting to hang down. I have too many cars and I do not have the time to get around to using the car anymore so I am looking for a good home where this Ferrari can be fixed and enjoyed again like it deserves. The price is more than fair for any Ferrari. The reserve is under 10g. Now, tell me where you are going to find any Ferrari in any condition for under 10g? Right here and nowhere else. There is really nothing to argue about at this price. If you have any questions or, if you would like to see the car for yourself and hear is run, just let me know. Bring your Ferrari expert for inspection. Serious cash buyers only. Ebay is not a game and it takes time and money to run an auction so if you bid and win, you will be paying for the car period. Keep this in mind. If you are new to ebay or have little to no feedback, email me first before you bid so I know you are a real buyer. 100% Positive feedback since I joined Ebay well over 10 years ago says alot. Please be for real. Sorry but there are too many timewasters around. Thank you for your interest.

2015 Ferrari LaFerrari [w/video]

Thu, 12 Jun 2014

What a year it's been for enthusiasts who love high-performance, higher-dollar automobiles. The past twelve months or so have been consumed with the three horsemonsters of today's hybrid hypercar enlightenment: the Porsche 918 Spyder, the McLaren P1 and the Ferrari LaFerrari. Getting into just two of the three would be better than a lump of coal in one's stocking come holiday time, but for me, it'd still leave things feeling sadly incomplete, gnawing from within 'til the end of days.
Getting the call from Maranello, therefore, was even more fortunate and satisfying. The 918 Spyder - the only seriously green hybrid of the trio - shook me up with its sophisticated menu of technologies. The McLaren P1 remains more of a true hypercar than the Porsche, what with its e-motor designed to boost the lightweight beast to supernatural speeds above any terrestrial concerns like fuel efficiency. And now it's time for the Italian with the funny name, LaFerrari. No mistake about it: I've been waiting all year for this car a little more than I've been waiting for the other two.
This run of hypercars built up over the year like a famous three-part opera: The enthralling start of the drama sitting in the Porsche 918, tear-assing the heavier green dart around a track in Spain; then on to the UK with the lightness and quick heart of the biturbo V8 in McLaren's track-inspired P1, and it was all to be topped-off at Fiorano with the LaFerrari, fit for a Wagnerian finish.

Ferrari Enzo successor caught testing again

Fri, 25 Jan 2013

Although we're still not really sure what Ferrari plans to call its long-awaited successor to the Enzo, we're certain that this is going to be one mean car. We've heard that it will be called the F150, F150 Italia and even the F70 over the last year and a half. Regardless of its name, this guppy-faced prototype you see above is Ferrari's answer to the McLaren P1 and Porsche 918 Spyder with a rumored 900-horsepower hybrid powertrain.
Since the last time we saw this car testing, the only difference appears to be that the exhaust outlets now may be closer to production form, with dual pipes on each side sitting up higher in the fascia. Aside from that, these shots are much clearer and at a better angle allowing us to get an idea of what the final product might look like. We do see some of this car's details such as the headlight placement and shape similar to the 458 Italia and the massive brakes with drilled carbon ceramic rotors.
No word as to when we might see the production version of the car, but Ferrari did tease a couple photos of it last month and is much further along than spy shots we saw less than a year ago.

eBay Find of the Day: Your choice of new, unregistered mid-2000s supercars

Wed, 26 Dec 2012

If you didn't quite find what you were hoping to see under the tree this year, maybe it's about time you buy yourself something nice. Something like an unregistered 2005 Porsche Carrera GT. The car has never been titled and has just 83 miles on the odometer. With one owner since new, the Carrera GT is likely to be as nice an example as you're likely to find outside of a museum. Porsche only built 340 of these machines back in 2005, and with a 610 horsepower V10 kicking at your spine, you can lap Santa's sleigh next year. Currently, the Carrera GT has a buy it now price of $457,325 with around six days left on the auction.
Not flashy enough for your tastes? Stroll on down to West Hollywood and you'll find a similarly untitled 2004 Ferrari Enzo up for grabs with a sticker of $1.8 million. Technically a Euro-spec car, the Enzo isn't legal to operate on US roads, but could be modified to satisfy Uncle Sam with a little effort. The seller calls this car the "last brand-new Enzo in existence" and with 175 miles on the clock, that may be a true statement. You can head over to eBay Motors for a closer look if you're feeling spendy.
