Longview, Washington, United States

You are bidding on a very nice, family owned 1970 FORD BRONCO.  I have the original bill of sale, protecto plate and manual. This is a non-lifted Bronco with a solid, un-cut body/tub with base coat/clear coat paint.

This Bronco was originally powered by a 3 speed from the factory but that was changed out for a NP435 4-speed and a 351 Cleveland with Edelbrock manifold and carburetor. It has dual Flowmaster exhaust, 3.50 gears, dual tanks, and a Chelsea PTO winch.

The body on this truck is super solid with no issues other than a few areas with slight surface rust. The floor pans are original and solid. The top has only been removed once and that was for the paint job.

The bronco comes with a rare factory front bench seat, un-cut dash, fold & tumble rear seat and rhino-lined tub.

This isn't your flawless $50k Bronco but it is damn nice and you will be hard pressed to find a better rig for the money that is solid, un-cut and hasn't been off-road it's entire life.

If you have any questions about this bronco, please give me a call at 360-749-6696. I would prefer a call rather than email.

I DO RESERVE THE RIGHT TO END THIS AUCTION EARLY DUE TO LOCAL SALE! ALSO ANY ZERO 0% FEEDBACK BIDDERS MUST CONTACT BEFORE BIDDING PLEASE!

Winning bidder is required to give a non-refundable $500 deposit through Paypal within 24 hours of winning the auction.

The balance of the payment is required within 7 days of auction close and must be paid in cash, cashier's check or wire transfer before the vehicle or title is released.  Please call within 48 hours to inform me of your payment method and a viewing time if desired before final payment and shipping if not being picked up in person.

If paying by check, the check must clear funds before releasing the vehicle or title.

Winning bidder is also responsible for picking up the vehicle in person or must arrange and pay any and all associated shipping costs, etc.

Ford, GM to collaborate on 9- and 10-speed transmissions

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

Back in October, there were reports that General Motors and Ford Motor Company were hard at work co-developing new nine- and ten-speed automatic transmissions, and now both automakers have confirmed this joint operation. While there are no specific vehicles mentioned to receive either transmission, a collaborative press release issued by GM and Ford mention that the transmission will be designed for front- and rear-wheel-drive cars, crossovers, trucks and SUVs.
These aren't the first powertrain components developed jointly between these cross-town rivals, either. The six-speed automatic currently used in vehicles like the Ford Edge, Ford Fusion, Chevrolet Cruze and Chevrolet Equinox was engineered in a similar fashion. As is the case with this existing transmission, both automakers will assist in the design, development and testing of the new transmissions, but each will build its own units in its own factories. Scroll down for the official press release.

2015 Ford F-150 spied in the rain

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Standing as quite a contrast from the spy shots of the 2015 Ford Mustang we saw earlier today, our spies also sent along these pictures of the next-generation F-150 pickup out testing in its (heavily camouflaged) full prototype body. Much of the new truck's design is hidden under the bulky coveralls, but we expect a lot of its new lines to be inspired by the Atlas concept that debuted at the 2013 Detroit Auto Show.
Perhaps the biggest unknown surrounding the new F-150 is what, exactly, its body will be made of. Earlier reports have suggested that lightweight aluminum materials may be used throughout, offering a serious reduction in weight versus previous models. But Ford engineers will need to be careful, though, as they need to keep a tight rein on costs while preserving class-competitive (if not class-leading) towing and payload capacity.
On the powertrain front, the new F-150 will undoubtedly carry on with EcoBoost engines, and we'd bet on a normally aspirated V8 as well. A diesel option hasn't been confirmed, but we wouldn't be surprised to see one some time in the truck's lifecycle. Mum's the word on when the production F-150 will be revealed, but our best guess is that we'll see it at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show.

PickupTrucks.com's latest test results in a familiar winner [w/video]

Wed, 19 Jun 2013

PickupTrucks.com has gone and thrown the latest batch of half-ton pickups into a cage match to see who would come out on top. The site put the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado 1500, GMC Sierra 1500, 2013 Ford F-150, Ram 1500, Toyota Tundra and Nissan Titan through a battery of tests. Those included 0-60 miles per hour acceleration, 60-0 mph deceleration, fuel economy, a hill climb, and payload and towing. They even threw the rigs on an autocross course to evaluate overall handling. Each truck was given points based on how it scored in each evaluation.
Who came out on top? Somewhat surprisingly, the 2013 Ford F-150 walked away with the gold, though fewer than 50 points separated first and fourth place. Head over to PickupTrucks.com to read the full evaluation and the final results. You may be shocked to see exactly where some of the segment's newest additions placed. You can also watch a video on the test below.
