We have decided to sell our 1967 Bronco which we have owned for 11 years. It has been enjoyed so much over the years and has always been a reliable starter every year. This Bronco has had a lot of love by us and we used the best of parts when working on it. The Bronco was always garaged. This Bronco can be a daily driver and with 3:50 gearing can attain maximum 25mpg. Drives like a charm. Cruises at 60mph with ease. Very solid vehicle. I would not be afraid of driving long distances. We found out the Bronco originally came from Washington DC - could have been in the military. There is a military sticker on the glove box door. The Bronco will come with the original 4:10 gear front and rear differentials if the purchaser would like them. We worked with many suppliers and purchased most of the quality parts from JBG, Wild H., Toms, LMC, James D. 4WP.

This will make someone a great ride.

As usual with this type of vehicle there is no warranty - sold as is. Mileage is listed as what is shown on the odometer - we have no way of knowing if the vehicle has turned over 100,000 miles.

Here is a list of all the items we installed on the Bronco during the build:

BODY PARTS
New rear quarter panel bottoms
New front floor pans
New door sills and door jambs
We kept the original fenders, grill, hood, windshield frame, doors (doors have the removable top frames which is cool when you remove the top for that roadster feel)

Hardtop from Arizona purchased on EBAY

How the 2015 Ford Mustang will save your knees

Sat, 21 Jun 2014

The 2015 Mustang is one of the most hotly anticipated vehicles of the moment, and Ford continues to leak out interesting little details about its newest pony car. The latest info doesn't have anything to do with its quarter-mile time or handling, but if any of that goes drastically wrong, the innovative new glovebox-mounted airbag may prevent passengers from knee injuries.
All variants of the 2015 Mustang get the active knee airbag as standard, and it's the first vehicle in Ford's lineup to receive the system. The setup is actually quite simple and ingenious. The glovebox is made from a plastic outer panel that is attached to the inner door. Sandwiched between them is this new injection-molded plastic bladder that folds flat when in use. If the passenger-side airbag deploys, the system springs into action to act as a cushion for your knees. Compared to a traditional knee airbag that has to fully inflate, this arrangement is 65 percent lighter and can use a 75 percent smaller inflator. It's also basically invisible when you look at the glovebox door.
Ford spokesperson Ed Saenz declined to tell Autoblog whether the system will appear in other vehicles in the Blue Oval's lineup but said, "We're considering other applications." Provided it's effective, the approach seems too simple not to make its way to other products. Scroll down to watch a video showing how the glovebox-mounted knee airbag works.

Mulally to stay at Ford through end of 2014 at least

Fri, 06 Dec 2013

Alan Mulally isn't going anywhere... at least not just yet. The CEO who helped turn around Ford Motor Company has been linked to the top job at tech behemoth Microsoft, leading to a flurry of rumors about potential successors. Those rumors, though, may have just been put to rest - at least for a little while.
Speaking to Edsel Ford II (great-grandson of company founder Henry Ford) at the unveiling of the new Mustang, Automotive News Europe confirmed that Mulally would stick around until the end of next year. "Alan is staying through the end of 2014 and that's all I know," said Ford. "Frankly, he has told us that his plan is to stay with Ford through the end of 2014."
Presuming that Edsel Ford is correct and that Microsoft isn't so hot on Mulally that it saves the position for him, it seems increasingly likely that the 68-year-old exec is more interested in continuing to work in Dearborn rather than in Redmond.

Ford Focus RS ready to make our hot hatch dreams real

Fri, 17 Oct 2014

Ford's current hot hatch siblings the Fiesta ST and Focus ST are already two pretty great entries into the segment, but there's always a desire for a little more. Thankfully, it looks like the Blue Oval is ready to satiate that need because it's continuing to test the even more powerful Focus RS around Europe. According to our spy shooters, these shots come from near the Nürburgring.
As with previous photos, Ford engineers continue to heavily camouflage the front end of the RS prototypes, but there's a big difference here. Unlike earlier ones, this example appears to have a closer-to-production-ready front bumper rather than just a horizontal strip for the license plate. That may point to development getting somewhat closer to wrapping up. Although, this one lacks the larger rear wing from prior testers, and the exhaust also appears to be a work in progress with the rear diffuser covered in mesh in these latest shots.
The RS is rumored to be using the 2.3-liter turbocharged four-cylinder from the 2015 Mustang, but power is reportedly turned up from 310 horsepower in the 'Stang to somewhere between 325 hp and 350 hp for the Focus. Routing all that just through the front wheels could be a recipe for serious torque steer, and all-wheel drive is potentially being used for better traction.
