Vehicle Description Hi everyone and thank you for taking the time to look and hopefully bid on my Bronco. Here is the basic story on it. It is a 1978 Ford Bronco Ranger XLT. I have owned it for 4 years. It has many rare options and has nothing wrong with it, AT ALL! It looks, drives, starts, and runs perfect. Everything works as it should, because almost the whole truck is new. The engine is a 351m New block with about 600 miles. The transmission is a c6 rebuilt with about 5000 miles. The transfer case had new seals and bearings put in when the transmission was rebuilt. The front and rear axles are rebuilt with 5000 miles. ...................... The entire brake system is brand new with about 5000 miles. The radiator is brand new. The whole truck was taken down to bare metal. The only rust that was in the truck was on the hood, bottom of the tailgate, and on the inside bottom of the doors. The hood is a brand new NOS from NPD. The other rusty metal was cut out and new metal welded in. The paint is mirror flat and consists of 3coats of Eastwood company’s rust encapsulation (to prevent rust),3 coats of sealer, 3coats of HOK Base white mixed with micro glass flake and pearl, 5 coats of clear then wet sanded and buffed. Every piece of trim, emblems, chrome is brand new. The whole interior is new accept for the locking hood latch, sport steering wheel and roll bar(bar was painted white to match). The wheels and tires are brand new as well. This Bronco was built with pride!!! All work was done by professional shops. I have every receipt for everything I have ever done. I have put over $23,000 in it and can prove it. I also have photo documentation. It has been in 4 car shows. Took home 3, 1st places and a second place trophy. The second place trophy was won at Carlisle All Truck Nationals which is the largest truck show on the east coast. My Bronco is also featured in an issue of Bronco Driver Magazine. It has never been off road since completed in July of 2006. It was built as a show truck not a mud truck! Although it would have no problem with off road. If you win my Bronco you will without a doubt be very happy! Please, I encourage anyone who can come and see it to do so! Call me anytime, just leave a message if I don’t answer. 763-226-0166. Any questions or concerns please contact me. My name is Les. The only things different now is the lenses are all clear now instead of red and amber(I have all of the colored lenses also. They are also brand new) And it now has new wheels and tires. Again email or call with any Q's. The title is clear and in my hand.

2015 Ford Mustang EcoBoost already hitting 12-second quarters
Sun, 28 Sep 2014The arrival of a new Ford Mustang means many things to many people, but not least of them is drag racers. The pony car has always been a mainstay of the drag strip, and the Ford Racing team aims to carry that reputation forward with this latest generation. So it cooked up a few basic modifications on three new 'Stangs and headed to the strips at US 131 and Milan Dragway to see what they could coax out of 'em.
Impressively, the 5.0-liter V8 Mustang GT with a few modifications (but no forced induction) managed to clock a quarter-mile time of 11.77 seconds. Another Mustang GT fitted with a supercharger clocked a blistering 10.97 seconds. But just as intriguing was the modified EcoBoost model that, with only four cylinders and 2.3 liters of displacement, still passed the gates in just 12.56 seconds - nearly half a second better than expected. This with modification limited to a new subframe, half-shaft, drive shaft loops, exhaust, engine calibration, slicks, roll cage and bucket seat. Well done, boys.
Ford Fiesta ST gets worked out on the track
Sun, 10 Mar 2013We're big fans of the turbocharged Ford Focus ST, and we're plenty excited that the Blue Oval will be offering a similar treatment on the smaller Fiesta here in the United States, too. We first saw the production-ready Fiesta ST five-door at the Los Angeles Auto Show last fall, and Ford has now released this video of a Euro-spec three-door ST being flung around the track.
But not just any track - the challenging Track 7 of Ford's Lommel Proving Grounds in Belgium. The course features 20 turns and plenty of elevation changes along its 2.7-mile loop, and David Put, a vehicle dynamic specialist at Ford, shows just how good the pint-sized Fiesta ST is at handling the lot, even getting the smallest ST up on three wheels every now and then.
It sure does look like a lot of fun, and makes us really eager for our chance to try this ourselves. Scroll down to see the hot little Ford getting busy.
