1987 - Ford Crown Victoria on 2040-cars
Hankamer, Texas, United States
1987 Ford LTD Crown Victoria Country Squire I just purchased this from an estate sale in Oklahoma. It is a one owner, VERY well cared for wagon. It shows just over 5K miles on the odometer with a title transfer in 1992 at 53187 miles. Let's assume 105K miles.....again, gentle miles. I've driven the car on the highway and it absolutely rides like a dream. The only thing I can find that it needs is the fuel gauge repaired and driver's side rear window regulator/motor. The clear film on the wood panel trim is coming off. I talked to a car vinyl wrap place and they said they could duplicate it. There is one very small dent in the passenger side rear (pictured) and a scratch on the hood (no dent, just scratch that someone tried to touch up with the wrong color paint........also pictured). I've driven the car ~150 miles.

Project Ugly Horse: Part V
Mon, 11 Feb 2013The Slippery Slope
I've had a healthy appreciation for cars that stop since one truly unfortunate incident with a runaway 1971 Lincoln Continental.
It's funny how quickly a party can turn from, "We're all having blast" to "What happened to the front of the house, and how many stitches do you think this is going to take?" Standing in a Mustang salvage shop in Kodak, Tennessee, I couldn't help but feel I had strayed into the latter territory with Ugly Horse. There was a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 plucked from a rear-ended Cobra sitting off to my left. The shelves were lined with second-hand Roush and SVT components galore, but I couldn't stop staring at a set of rotors with the approximate diameter of my chest.
2015 Ford Mustang spied on video for the first time
Thu, 20 Jun 2013Not many cars will continue to hold our rapt attention quite like the upcoming redesigned 2015 Ford Mustang, codenamed S550 internally. Earlier this month, we brought you the first spy photos of a next-gen Mustang prototype out testing, and even though expertly placed cladding concealed the pony car's new shape, we could tell that underneath was hiding an altogether new form inspired by the Evos Concept from 2011.
Today we give you some video of what looks to be the same Mustang prototype, which you can watch below, and while the budding director behind the camera wasn't able to capture much in the way of the engine's audio signature, we can see the car in motion for the first time and compare its relative size and shape to the S197 Mustang GT that's on its tail.
