This is one of the nicest examples of it's kind available anywhere. This is a beautiful car that is absolutely as nice underneath as it is on top. It is finished in Performance White Clearcoat, one of the most desirable colors available on the Crown Victoria. If you are searching for the ultimate Crown Victoria Police Interceptor, here you go...

You are viewing a very low-mileage, extremely low idle hours, always unmarked, loaded 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor with the coveted "Street Appearance Package". Recently out of service from Ohio Local City Government,  with only 40,158 actual, documented miles and 275 idle hours on it. This is a beautiful example of a very rare, hard to find car in the most "in-demand" color.

The original finish is excellent and looks great with no major imperfections. The paint shines with an extremely high gloss, and the only thing I could find was a small paint chip or two on the front and rear bumper.

This unit includes all of the options you would expect...power heated mirrors, daytime running lights, factory auxiliary police dome lamp, factory AM/FM stereo, driver and passenger side airbags, cruise control, cloth front bucket seating with cloth rear bench seat, locking padded center console, and a 3.27 ratio rear differential w/traction control. These items, of course, are just the beginning of the list of equipment on this car.

In my years of buying and selling vehicles, I have had very few cars that come close to the condition of these units, they are extremely well maintained, actually over-maintained, and typically need no repairs. It has NEVER been smoked in, looks as close to new as you will find and has virtually zero wear on the interior, even on the seating. The rear seat appears to have never been used.

It is finished in the factory Performance White Clearcoat finish with Dark Charcoal interior. This is one of the most beautiful colors available on a Crown Victoria. With only 40,158 actual, original miles on it, the exterior is very nice and the interior shows nearly zero wear. It has been extremely well-maintained and it runs, drives and handles as close to new as you will ever find. It has never been abused and it looks gorgeous.

All of the factory manuals are included with the vehicle, and are in place in the glove box.

The trunk compartment is extremely clean, and the original full size spare tire is in place. There is also the Kevlar trunk bin, and full size jack assembly and spare which appear to NEVER have been used.

This unit is also equipped with, of course, the full "Police Interceptor" package which includes the 4.6-liter H.O. engine, 4-speed overdrive heavy-duty transmission, 3.27 rear axle, lateral bow (roof) reinforcement, Good Year Eagle Ultra Grip 235-55-17 police-spec, ultra-high performance radials mounted on the factory, heavy-duty, 17" vented police wheels with full, factory deluxe wheel covers, stainless-steel dual exhaust with factory crossover pipe, police-only lightweight balanced aluminum driveshaft, special police-spec heavy-duty frame, 4-wheel disc brakes, severe-duty suspension, heavy-duty cooling, lamp pre-wire group, certified 140-mph speedometer, tachometer, idle hour meter, silicone hoses, and much, much more.

For those of you who know Crown Victorias, you are probably already aware that the 2004-2011 models are the years to have...2004 was the first year for the higher-horsepower engine.

All Crown Victorias produced from 2004-onward utilized the new, improved, 250-horsepower 4.6 liter V8 engine and are the fastest Crown Victorias produced due to many changes that were made, mainly in the intake system. Previously, the Police Interceptor produced 239 horsepower, but the 2004-newer Police Interceptor increased that number to 250 horsepower due to the addition of a new "Marauder" air intake setup. This included a new airbox that resembles the Mercury Marauder airbox (raised airbox lid, deeper bottom), with a new, larger, integrated 80 mm (3.1 in) mass airflow (MAF) sensor that is part of the airbox lid. This allows for much more precise flow calibration and reduces the chances of air leakage. The P71 zip tube (the flexible rubber hose between the throttle body and MAF outlet) is also used to reduce NVH (noise, vibration, and harshness) as well as transfer air from the airbox to the throttle body with minimal flow resistance.

Crown Victorias like this one are becoming nearly extinct, so here's your opportunity if you've been looking for one of the nicest you will find in a rare and desirable color combination with ultra-low mileage and ultra-low idle hours.

This unit is gorgeous inside and out and is clean under the hood as well...the engine compartment is very nice (please see the pictures). I do not slather motors with Armor All to make them appear nicer, or newer, than they are.

These are the Crown Victorias aficionados lust after, and this is an unmolested example. It is very responsive, smooth-shifting and, of course, very fast. It honestly drives like a brand new car straight from the Ford Dealership - and everything works without a SINGLE issue.

This is a factory, all white car, not a re-painted color change like you will see for sale elsewhere.

This unit is in excellent overall condition, has been very well-maintained and has little of the normal wear and tear you would expect to find on a used police vehicle. This car has no known mechanical defects and it runs and drives excellent. The tires and brakes are like new, with MAYBE a few thousand miles on them.

This car drives as close to new as you will ever find. It is a very nice driving, tight unit...not a beat-up police car. It has never been used for any type of normal police or patrol work.

DON'T PASS THIS ONE UP, 2007 MODELS ARE VERY, VERY HARD TO FIND AND I DOUBT YOU WILL SEE ANOTHER FOR SALE IN THE NEAR FUTURE WITH THIS LOW OF MILEAGE AND HOURS, IF AT ALL.

This 2007 Ford Crown Victoria Police Interceptor will sell to the high bidder at the end of the auction, providing the reserve is met. Please complete all inspections BEFORE bidding...if you win the auction, you own the vehicle. The ONLY reason I am selling the vehicle is because I found out my wife is pregnant, and this is the second out of my three show vehicles that have to go. I have the vehicle listed for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. If you have a reasonable offer, contact me and maybe we can come up with a deal.

I do work for a company that transports vehicles, so if you would like the vehicle shipped, contact me for a quote. If not, I'd be happy to pick you up at Hopkins International airport in Cleveland, and I'd trust this Crown Victoria to drive anywhere in the USA without a single issue! I may be able to deliver this vehicle personally, depending on your location, at a reduced rate as well. Feel free to call me with any questions at 614-522-9626. Thanks for looking and here are some larger, additional pictures:

Ford looks to protect logo from Toronto mayor followers

Fri, 15 Nov 2013

One is a member of the Detroit Three and the maker of the Mustang, Fusion, Explorer and F-150. The other is an admitted loudmouthed, drunk-driving, crack-smoking mayor in Canada. Unfortunately for one, it shares its name with the other. Yes, Ford Motor Company is going to great lengths to keep its iconic Blue Oval logo from being appropriated by supporters of besieged Toronto mayor Rob Ford.
At a United Way event earlier this week, some of Mayor Ford's fans showed up with shirts that featured the automaker's logo with the words "Ford Nation," on them. Naturally, Mayor Ford signed them. FoMoCo was quick to issue an unhappy statement:
"Ford did not grant permission for use of its logo. We view it as an unauthorized use of our trademark and have asked it to be stopped," spokesperson Jay Cooney said. There was also a statement from Ford of Canada's Twitter account after a user alerted the company:

Auto critic calls out Corvette, Mustang and Cherokee faithful

Mon, 26 Aug 2013

Most automotive purists fear change, but not without reason. Change, after all, did kill big-block V8s, along with most station wagons and manual transmissions. But change has also brought with it far more performance, safety and fuel economy - not to mention ridding the world of shag carpet interiors, bias-ply tires and those horrible motorized seatbelts of the early '90s.
By this time next year, the Chevy Corvette, Jeep Cherokee and next-generation Ford Mustang will all be on sale and will all, in some way, have angered or offended purists. To those critics, Mark Phelan of the Detroit Free Press is preemptively telling them to stop complaining - at least until they've all been driven. From the Corvette's square taillights and the Cherokee's radical nose to whatever pony car purists will harp on the 2015 Mustang for, Phelan's column points out the positives of automotive evolution and the negatives of staying the course for too long. That's fair enough, but do you think Phelan is on point, or all wet? Head on over to the Detroit Free Press to read his words, then have your say in Comments.

Hot sales have Detroit automakers shortening summer shutdowns

Tue, 08 Jul 2014

Back in May, there was speculation that the Detroit Three automakers would maintain or perhaps even extend their traditional summer shutdowns, mostly due to a bitingly cold winter that saw below-freezing temperatures infiltrate the southernmost reaches of the US, putting a chill on auto sales. Now, though, the numbers are in, and thanks to some promising sales figures, it looks like some domestic line workers are going to be working clear through July, in some cases.
According to Automotive News, Ford has slashed its traditional two-week hiatus for factory workers in half at four of its plants, while both Chrysler and General Motors will keep factories running nonstop (two plants in Chrysler's case and a third of GM's factories).
This is, as we said, thanks to some positive numbers. Chief among those is the Seasonal Adjusted Annual Rate, which was at an eight-year high of 17 million units. Individual figures were less promising. GM, embroiled in its recall scandal, still saw a one-percent increase while Ford dropped six percent in year-over-year sales. Chrysler was the big winner, though, with a nine-percent jump in June.
