Orange City, Florida, United States
Vehicle Title:Clear
Make: Ford
Drive Type: RWD
Model: E-Series Van
Mileage: 987,654
Trim: Custom
99.9% RUST FREE!!!
This classic van runs and drives. The fuel tank needs to be cleaned, but we have driven it all over on a gas can.
I have it at my Shop in Orange City Florida. I am closing the business down and have to eliminate some projects.
This is going with no reserve, so please bid responsibly.
Here are the specifics.
BODY:
The body is in 99.9% rust free condition. It is extremely solid and rust free. I brought it out from Phoenix Arizona and planned on doing it up right, but things happen.
PAINT:
Needs complete paint.
RUST:
Basically zero rust. This is super solid!!! Great project.
INTERIOR:
Everything is there, but to be a show van it needs to be redone.
ENGINE:
Solid running 300ci 6 cylinder engine. Runs great.
TRANSMISSION:
Automatic transmission. It drives well. If it sits for months, it will leak a little fluid out and not move to begin with. I do not see any obvious leaks, but that is what happens. If it is used regularly, it works fine.
TIRES:
Needs tires and custom rims in my opinion.
TITLE:
Clean and Clear Arizona title.
STORAGE:
If the car is paid for in full I will store the van for up to 3 months free of charge. I will not take any responsibility for anything that may happen to the car during this time.
SHIPPING:
I will assist in loading the car, but all costs associated with the shipping are the responsibility of the buyer. I do occasionally drive from Arizona to Florida and back. If we come to an agreement, I can deliver the car anywhere along the I-10 for a previously agreed upon price. Call first to make a deal.
QUESTIONS:
Feel free to ask any questions. You can call me at 602-625-1579 Thanks, Pete

Next SVT Mustang may axe Shelby name, go naturally aspirated
Mon, 10 Jun 2013Following our first glimpse at the 2015 Ford Mustang out on the road, the fine folks at Road and Track have divulged some details on what the Blue Oval's next pony might have in store. We've already seen that the car will get some very sleek, Evos-inspired design cues, and an independent rear suspension is indeed in store. These new details, however, concern the muscle car's beating heart.
For starters, the base Ford coupe is expected to carry on with V6 power, likely from the same 3.7-liter unit found in today's car. From there, R&T says the next step up will be a four-cylinder EcoBoost engine, likely displacing 2.3 liters, putting out as much as 350 horsepower. Of course, a Mustang wouldn't be a Mustang without V8 thrust, and R&T states that the 5.0-liter Coyote V8 will continue on into the 2015 car, making something like 450 horsepower.
But it's at the high end of the Mustang range where things will, reportedly, get very, very interesting. Road & Track claims that the top-shelf 'Stang will likely lose the supercharger from its engine, producing a metric crap-ton of naturally aspirated grunt instead. Additionally, the SVT-fettled Mustang will likely be dropping its Shelby moniker, in favor of "a name you're familiar with," according to the magazine (you know, like, Cobra).
Hyundai, BMW and Ford win Concept Vehicle of the Year awards
Sat, 06 Jul 2013More than two dozen jurors started with a pool of 23 concept cars introduced at the most recent Los Angeles, Detroit, Chicago, Toronto and New York auto shows, then pared it down to three winners in three categories for the twelfth annual North American Concept Vehicle of the Year Awards. The trophy-bearers are said to be those "vehicles most likely to shape the future of the automobile industry," and lead their classes in the Concept Car, Concept Truck and Production Preview divisions.
Hyundai had two cars as finalists for the Concept Car category, the competition boiled down to the Hyundai HCD-14 Genesis concept, Veloster C3 Roll Top, Honda EV-STER and the Toyota Corolla Furia. It won with the HCD-14 Genesis that was introduced at the Detroit Auto Show, a sharp sedan that sharply divided opinion between those who thought it was too much, those who thought it was too much Audi A7, and those who thought it was perfect. The award panel's judges, however, thought so much of it that it's got two awards in one sitting, not only taking concept car honors, but because it earned the highest overall score in the competition it also takes the crown for Most Significant Concept Vehicle of 2013.
The final selection in the Concept Truck category was down to the Ford Atlas, Kia Cross GT, Nissan Resonance and Volkswagen Cross Blue. The Ford Atlas took the silverware, after also winning the Eyes on Design award - shared with the Nissan Resonance - at the Detroit Auto Show where it was introduced.
Ford to add more than 2,000 jobs in Kansas City
Thu, 02 May 2013Continued high demand for the Ford F-150, along with the addition of the all-new Transit series of commercial vehicles, has led Ford to announce that it will add over 2,000 jobs at its Kansas City Assembly Plant. At the time of the announcement, the plant boasts 2,450 hourly employees working on two shifts. All told, Ford will invest $1.1 billion in the Kansas City plant to expand truck production and begin producing the Transit series.
According to the automaker, fullsize truck sales are up 19 percent through April of 2013, leading to an additional 900 workers and a third shift of production for the F-150. Production of the Transit series will begin in the fourth quarter of this year, requiring an additional 1,100 workers. In addition, Ford estimates that a total of 18,000 jobs will be created by suppliers to its Kansas City plant to support the additional vehicle production.
