Van has .305 4.9L Engine "Chesterfield" straight-line, V6, fuel injected, runs great. It will need oil change in a month (depending on how much you drive it). I always used full synthetic 10W-30 on oil changes. All engine parts working fine. Starter is new, distrubutor cap is new. Radiator is not calcified too bad. Transmission is fine, though a tune up would be nice. Has electronic switch for overdrive, which works fine. All windows are fine, no cracks, some old tint and a couple stickers. Bumper stick on rear bumper. All lights work fine. No major cracks on dashboard. All seats in good condition except shotgun seat, which needs replacement. Carpet needs to be replaced too. Mirrors are in fine condition. Battery in good condition. Front brakes fine. Rear brakes need re-calibration, otherwise fine condition. Tires in good condition. Tabs good 'til '05 / '14. Tail pipe in fine condition. Leaks some oil but not bad - good for it's age. Has locking gas cap. All dash lights work except for gear setting (R - N - D - D2 etc...). Includes a Premier AM/FM/FM2/CD/MP3 CD with unreadable display and two 6"x9" speakers in boxes that sit under passenger and driver seats, that work fine. Cigarette lighter doesn't work. Dome lights work.
It has been in the family since Dec. '96. It was given to me by my father in '05. I never treated it rough and it has never broke down.
It is "pearl white", has ~173,000 miles on it. 8 MPG in city, 16 on Freeway.
Has two dents: one in passenger side door and rear right side, below tail light. Smells of gas in interior immediately after fill up and when tank is close to empty but fine otherwise. I think the reason why is because I took the carpet out, otherwise. Before I took it out, I never noticed it but I had to remove it because mold began to grow in it.
You may come by and test drive it.

Ford 1.0L EcoBoost 3-Cylinder: Autoblog Technology of the Year award finalist
Wed, 19 Nov 2014As the old saying goes, "There's no replacement for displacement." But these days, many automakers are launching powerful, downsized engines that offer similar or better power output than their predecessors, all while offering improvements in fuel economy and emissions. These days, we're seeing automakers replacing eight-cylinder engines with turbocharged sixes, and the naturally aspirated six-cylinder motors are being phased out in favor of potent turbo fours. But Ford has gone even smaller, offering a three-cylinder, turbocharged engine with one single liter of displacement.
Sure, three-cylinder engines aren't anything new - they've been offered around the globe for ages. But Ford's EcoBoost 1.0L powerplant is perhaps the best application the Autoblog team has tested. Gone are the triple-cylinder complaints of yore - this engine doesn't sound anemic or buzzy, and there's healthy power output on tap. In fact, compared to the 1.6-liter inline-four that Ford also offers in the Fiesta, the 1.0-liter is more powerful, while boasting an impressive 45 miles per gallon on the highway.
This engine has already received numerous accolades, including winning the International Engine of the Year award in 2012, 2013 and 2014. The 1.0L EcoBoost will be available in the refreshed 2015 Ford Focus here in the US.
More evidence GT500-replacement will be named GT350
Tue, 17 Dec 2013During the recent unveiling of the 2015 Ford Mustang, we saw the car in both V6 and GT form, but we'll have to wait a little bit longer to see the successor to the Shelby GT500. In the meantime, though, it looks like SVTPerformance.com has confirmed reports that this high-performance model will bring the Shelby GT350 name back to Ford.
According to the forum post, a user found the Shelby GT350 name on a Ford promo website listing its 2015 lineup. The Shelby GT350 name was first used on a Mustang back in 1965, and most recently it has been a model created for customers as a post-title purchase by Shelby American. As for that car, Shelby confirmed earlier in the year that its GT350 would be phased out at the end of this month.
The million-dollar question for Mustang and Shelby enthusiasts is when we'll see next factory Shelby GT350. Last we heard it was planned for a debut at the New York Auto Show. We've included our previous spy shots of this hi-po, sixth-gen Mustang, and we've also captured it on spy video showing off its exhaust note.
Weekly Recap: Auto execs face life in prison for recall delays under proposed legislation
Sat, 09 Aug 2014
The stiff punishments are part of broader transportation legislation, but clearly McCaskill has automakers in her sights.
Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill threw down the gauntlet this week, proposing a bill that could send auto executives to prison for life if they were found to have delayed a recall. She also wants to eliminate the limit for fines for auto safety violations, which are currently capped at $35 million.
