1999 Ford E-250 Extended Cargo van with Quigley 4x4 conversion. It has a 5.4 engine. It runs and drives great. It has power windows,locks,cruise control. It has 99897 miles. I bought this van to use on the beach,but never did use it,as my wife wants a window van,so thats what Im looking for.The van is in real good shape and wasnt worked hard and isnt beat up. This van isnt rusted out ,but does have a spot on rear floor at body mount by wheelwell(you can see it pic) the driverside rocker has a small spot,but its not a hole. Van has all stock tires and wheels.there is a picture with bigger tires...i just put them on to see what it looked like.They are from my pickup and do not come with van,only the stock ones come with it. Also,van is a 1999 ,not a 1979 as some parts of as states.

EU formally questions French government assistance of Peugeot's finance arm
Fri, 28 Dec 2012Recently, the finance arm of PSA/Peugeot-Citroën was in such debt trouble that it was pricing itself out of the car loan market. The rates it was paying to service its debt, which was rated one step above junk, were so high that it was forced to charge car-buying customers higher rates than they could find elsewhere. This was adding to Peugeot's already impressive woes by sending revenue out the door to competitors.
Two months ago a deal was worked out with the French government whereby the state would provide 7 billion euro ($9 billion USD) in bonds to guarantee the finance arm's loans. The French government could nominate someone to join the Peugeot board, Peugeot would guarantee more French jobs, and on top of that deal, other banks would provide non-guaranteed loans. The government would take no equity stake in the car company.
Although not yet finalized, the arrangement is meant to create some breathing room for Peugeot Finance to lower its interest rates for customers, and a government-nominated board member, Louis Gallois, was recently named to Peugeot's supervisory board. The arrangement was also openly questioned by at least three competitors: Ford, Renault - which is 15-percent owned by the French government after it received state aid - and the German state of Lower Saxony, itself a 15-percent shareholder in Volkswagen.
Fitting Retirement: Grand Marquis last Mercury off the line
Wed, 05 Jan 2011The signs have come down and retail production ended back in October of 2010. Now, the very last Mercury model has rolled off the assembly line. This last Mercury somewhat fittingly takes the form of a Grand Marquis reporting for fleet duty. It was built at the St. Thomas plant in Ontario, Canada, which is the same facility that continues to produce the Ford Crown Victoria and Lincoln Town Car for fleet and livery duty.
St. Thomas' days are numbered, however, as the factory is slated to close on August 31. When it goes, the Panther platform is likely to follow. So long, and thanks for all the fish memories.
