Up for sale, A very great running 6.0 Turbo Diesel powerstroke previous use ambulance chassis. It has higher miles but starts & runs great!!!! A/C Cold, Transmission works good, Drives Good, Starts good cold & warm. It has no rust!!! The tires are 10PR Michelin LRE LTX MS that are 70-80% on the front & 10PR LRE Firestone Transforce that are about 75% on the rear. THe Wheelbase is 158", THe frame from the back of cab to center of rear axle is 100" & the frame from the rear of the cab to rear of frame is 164". THe rear of the cab is temporarily capped with plywood. Rear cabbacks are available at cabbacks.com. It has stainless dually simulators. THe interior is great except for the wear on the drivers seat as seen in the pictures. The grille is starting to peel as seen in the pictures. Ford says 70% of its models to get stop-start by 2017
Sun, 15 Dec 2013Ford is following up on a report we posted a few weeks back that the Blue Oval would be adding stop-start technology to its entire model range. Now, the Dearborn-based automaker has announced that the fuel-saving feature would be available on 70 percent of the company's range by 2017.
Ford claims the technology will improve fuel economy by around 3.5 percent, although its actual effect will vary based on how the owner drives - apparently up to a 10-percent improvement is possible for those who sit in heavy traffic (Los Angelenos, this means you). The latest recipient of the technology is the updated 2014 Ford Fiesta with the company's three-cylinder EcoBoost powerplant.
Part of the reasoning for the new addition has to do with cost. Ford claims the tech is affordable and easy to implement. "Simply put, Auto Start-Stop helps customers use less fuel, which is an important component of Ford's Blueprint for Sustainability," Ford's global powertrain vice president, Bob Fascetti, said.

While speaking during an interview with The Detroit News, Elkann said he often asks Bill Ford Jr. for advice on how to proceed with the turnaround at Chrysler. "It's great to have the opportunity to share this with someone like Bill, who has experienced many things and gone through many things ... especially linked to Detroit." Elkann said.
As the Agnelli family heir, Elkann has inherited a long and fruitful friendship with the Ford family. While Giovanni Agnelli built his first Fiat four years before Henry Ford created his first vehicle, it was Ford that showed Agnelli the benefits of mass production and helped pave the way for what would become the Fiat empire.
Giovanni's grandson, Gianni, helped mentor Bill Ford when he was elected chairman of Ford Motor Company. Now, Ford is returning the favor by helping Elkann navigate the automotive industry's tumultuous waters.
