This 2005 Ford Escape Limited has 120,649 well cared for miles.  The leather interior is in great shape, no rips, very little wear on drivers side seat and all electronics work perfectly.   Listed below are items that were recently changed or upgraded within the past 10,000 miles.

New Monroe Shocks/Struts:  06/2012
New Brake Pads/Discs/Calipers:  06/2012

New BF Goodrich Long  Trail T/A:  06/2012

These items were installed by a personal friend who is a licensed mechanic in the State of Michigan, except for the tires which were purchase at Belle Tire.  The care runs perfectly, there are no mechanical flaws, starts right up, the V6 has plenty of get up and go.  Since we have owned the vehicle the oil and filter has been changed every 3,000-3,500 miles and associated air filter changed when needed as well.  You will not be disappointed in the vehicle, its appearance and how it performs:  I have done some research on price etc., and this is how I am coming up with the figures we are hoping to retrieve on this sale:

Kelly Blue Book lists this vehicle between:  $6,671 (very good) to $7,021 (excellent)  this value is for private sale.  I would consider the vehicle in very good to excellent condition for the year, with the upkeep it has had and how it performs.

How the Ford Shelby Mustang came to be

Fri, 20 Sep 2013

Even as rumors swirl that the next-generation of high-performance Ford Mustang will drop the Shelby name, Ford has released a short video telling how the legend of the Shelby Mustang came to be. In its latest installment of its video series entitled Mustang Countdown, Ford dug up some footage from Carroll Shelby to give a little insight into how this automotive icon was created.
While it's definitely interesting to hear the late legend tell the story in his own words (including numerous references to the 1964 Mustang as a "secretary's car"), it's also pretty funny learning exactly how the Shelby GT350 got its name in the first place - a name allegedly making a comeback as the replacement for the current Shelby GT500. As development work continues on the 2015 Ford Mustang, the Shelby video posted below shows that the automaker is always looking at its past - even as it looks ahead to the future.

2015 Ford F-150 configurator is ready to go to work

Thu, 25 Sep 2014

Ford is inching towards the on-sale date for the eagerly anticipated, aluminum F-150 pickup. While we're preparing to drive the new truck (expect our take on it sooner rather than later), the best-seller has reached another, albeit more minor, milestone as its online configurator has officially been switched on.
We took to Ford's consumer website to mess about with it and see just how ridiculous of a truck we can build. Among the fun things we discovered were these two nuggets - the most expensive truck we could configure was not the top-end Platinum model, but instead the King Ranch, which rang up at $65,955. The other exciting discovery? The new truck would be available in a questionable shade called Blue Jeans (shown above with the optional contrasting Caribou paint). Yep, Blue Jeans.
You can head over to Ford's consumer page and build your very own aluminum F-150 now. Take a look.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. takes his dog for a drift

Tue, 09 Sep 2014

Vaughn Gittin Jr. spends a great deal of his workday going sideways, but he's usually alone in the endeavor. For a guy that is clearly a dog lover, we imagine that can get a bit lonely.
That won't be a problem for Gittin in this latest video, which features the racer hanging out with his good pal Brody (a dog) and everyone's favorite hot hatch, the Ford Fiesta ST.
