Up for sale is a 2007 Ford Escape XLT FWD with the hard to find, fuel efficient 2.3L 4 cylinder engine. This is a one owner vehicle with LOW mileage! It is very well equipped with all the creature comforts like keyless entry, power drivers seat, power windows, mirrors, locks, etc., foglights, the works! This Escape was owned and meticulously dealer maintained by a mature and responsible family. It has had recent repairs performed at the Ford dealership before being purchased from the owner including: brake pads, brake rotors, flex pipe, alternator, A/C clutch, battery, and has almost new tires! This Escape would make an excellent first vehicle, family vehicle, work vehicle, you name it! Very roomy, reliable and fuel efficient. The trunk has a ton of cargo space! If you'd like, you can also fold the rear seats to make even more room! I had just had the rear passenger window regulator repaired as well. The original rear passenger window wouldn't always go up and down, but was replaced with a brand new regulator from Ford! This vehicle has had NO accidents, and has a spotless vehicle history report included in the ad! Being that this is a now 7 year old used vehicle however, there are minor imperfections from regular wear and driver usage. Are you the next Ford Edge? [UPDATE]
Wed, 13 Feb 2013What looks to be the next Ford Edge has been leaked in an apparent corporate Powerpoint presentation deck. Despite the thumbnail image's blurry and pixelated quality, it appears as if the next generation crossover will be staying close to its current aesthetic despite an all-new front clip with redesigned grille, headlamps, and lower fascia with integrated fog lights.
The upscale-minded Blue Oval CUV is due for a redesign in 2015, having just received a mid-cycle refresh for 2011. It isn't clear what changes lie beneath the new skin, either in terms of mechanicals or interior refinement, but we suspect Ford will be looking to put some distance between the next generation model and the new Escape, which is suddenly much more car-like and not that far off the more expensive Edge in terms of overall size, power or refinement.

Wed, 13 Nov 2013What's the future look like for Tesla after it launches the Model X CUV and possibly a smaller, sub-Model S sedan? Would you believe a pickup truck? Yes, Tesla could be looking to use its EV know-how to take the fight to Ford and the F-150, based on comments made by company founder Elon Musk.
"If you're trying to replace the most gasoline miles driven, you have to look at what people are buying," Musk said during an impromptu Q&A session following a speech at Business Insider's Ignition conference. "[The F-150 is] the best selling car in America. If people are voting that's their car, then that's the car we have to deliver."
And while the idea of electric pickup may sound kind of absurd to some, Musk makes a very valid point - if Tesla's goal is to replace gas miles with electrical miles, it simply can't afford to ignore pickups.
Ford calling in 28k Edge crossovers over fuel line leak
Thu, 16 Jan 2014A problem with the fuel line on certain examples of the Ford Edge has prompted the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to issue a recall. The issue revolves around the metal housing on the fuel line pulse damper, which was apparently improperly manufactured in the first place and is prone to crack in certain circumstances, leading to a fuel leak. And as we all know, a fuel leak is not a good thing.
The problem affects model year 2012 and 2013 Edge crossovers equipped with the 2.0-liter engine and manufactured between September 2, 2010 and April 25, 2013 - a total of 27,933 units. Although the Lincoln MKX is closely related to the Edge, since it isn't offered with the same engine (to which the problem is related), the recall does not include the premium-badged version.
