2001 Ford Excursion Limited Edition.Good condition truck, runs and drives isreally good and strong, with low actual only 137kmiles on it. All power: PDL,PW, PCL, HS, 2WD, 4WD high & low, leather, alarm, rear park sensors. Truckrolling on M+S 305/50R20 chrome rims with about 80% tread left of Good Yeartires on it, good for another at least 2 seasons (Originally paid $2600 for therims and tires). 10v engine works really quite like new, almost can't hearthe engine how it works when it's on, transmission works really smooth too.I didn't drive much this Truck in snow, but it's really really good init. No warning lights or mechanical problems (will pass a State inspection).Extra upgrades and work been done to the vehicle: new battery, new manifoldseals on both sides, roof racks, new truck floor mats set and seat covers. LEDHalo Projector Angel Eyes Headlights, Excursion Black Tail Lights, Nitro Chip, 2screens 9' DVDs, engine oil just being changed with new oil and airfilters. Ford will probably never offer two RS models at the same time
Mon, 18 Mar 2013Autocar has some sour news for fans of go-fast Ford products. According to Roelant de Waard, Ford's president of marketing in Europe, the automaker will probably never offer more than one RS performance model for sale at the same time. That statement runs contrary earlier rumblings that suggested Ford would launch its next-generation Focus RS in 2015 and follow the hatch with a spate of other vehicles with an RS badge. But de Waard has made it clear that Ford of Europe is now focused on squarely on the next Mustang, even though there may be more RS models on the way eventually.
"What is clear is that the RS shouldn't be a series, or a car badge that we have in our portfolio all the time. It is an extreme car - something more than ST," he said.
That philosophy makes plenty of sense. We loved the old Focus RS - shown above in RS500 trim - because it was generally bonkers and plenty exclusive. Diluting either aspect is sure to end in disappointment for everyone involved.
2014 Ford Transit Connect Taxi hopes to fare thee well
Mon, 23 Sep 2013New York City may have selected its taxi of tomorrow, but there are still plenty of municipalities across the US with citizens that depend on yellow livery cars to get them across town in a jiffy. That's why Ford is going ahead with this, the new Transit Connect Taxi.
Based on the 2014 Transit Connect, the TC Taxi boasts a number of features designed to make the compact van appeal to discerning taxi drivers and their fares, with the most notable upgrade being a standardized prep package to convert the 2.5-liter four to run on liquefied petroleum or compressed natural gas. The clean-burning fuel options will allow operators to save on fuel costs and cut down on pollution without sacrificing performance.
A lower load floor and a new twist-beam rear suspension are meant to improve the riding experience for passengers, while the longer 2014 Transit Connect sports extra cargo space as well. In addition to the CNG/LPG conversion, the Transit Connect Taxi can also be easily modified for wheelchair access. Drivers, meanwhile, will have access to optional goodies like Sync with MyFord Touch and a rear-view camera.

I've had a healthy appreciation for cars that stop since one truly unfortunate incident with a runaway 1971 Lincoln Continental.
It's funny how quickly a party can turn from, "We're all having blast" to "What happened to the front of the house, and how many stitches do you think this is going to take?" Standing in a Mustang salvage shop in Kodak, Tennessee, I couldn't help but feel I had strayed into the latter territory with Ugly Horse. There was a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 plucked from a rear-ended Cobra sitting off to my left. The shelves were lined with second-hand Roush and SVT components galore, but I couldn't stop staring at a set of rotors with the approximate diameter of my chest.
