2001 Ford Excursion Limited 4x4 V-10 Auto. 205k miles. This has been a very dependable vehicle for me. It has towed a 34ft camper to Myrtle Beach and back as well as taking it on out of town trips. It is a really nice ride for a big family because it has the 3rd row seat. Some interior wear on drivers arm rest and on middle seat. See above condition description for more details. It does have the towing package and I installed an electric brake. It has the 373 rear end so fuel mileage is decent around 12.5 mpg. I have took really good care of this vehicle and only selling now because I'm going through a divorce and need something smaller. I am still driving this vehicle so the miles will be more than I listed. I have the right to end the auction early if the vehicle sells before auction ends. It appears that the chatter about Ford CEO Alan Mulally possibly leaving early to take over as CEO of Microsoft is losing air pretty fast. What's pretty interesting is that it got any traction in the first place.

The Ford Escape leads the NICB's list with 1,421 examples stolen.
If you drive a recent Ford SUV or crossover, you may want to keep a watchful eye out for thieves - especially if you live in the New York metro area or in Detroit. A new study from the National Insurance Crime Bureau has named three Ford models as the most likely vehicles in their genre to be stolen, with CUVs in general being especially attractive to bandits.
Ford Mondeo classes up with premium Vignale trim
Wed, 11 Sep 2013Back in the day, Vignale was a carrozzeria of the highest order, alongside the likes of Pininfarina, Bertone and Zagato. But like Giugiaro-ItalDesign and Ghia, it has since been subsumed into a larger auto group. Ford ended up with it under its umbrella when it took over De Tomaso, and has since used the moniker for a number of concept cars. Now the name is back in the form of a new upscale sub-brand for the European market.
The first new model to receive the Vignale treatment is the Mondeo, which Ford unveiled here at the Frankfurt Motor Show in both sedan and wagon forms. Positioned above the Titanium trim, the Vignale model gets such special touches as chrome trim and a quilted leather interior, Vignale badges replacing any mention of the Mondeo on which it's based. It also gains an ownership experience - including free car washes for life! - to befit the upscale positioning.
Under the bright spotlights above the show floor, the Nocciola metallic brown paint might not be the most photogenic, but will likely give the Vignale edition a more premium look when it hits European dealers and roads in 2015. Whether it'll be worth however much Ford asks for it, however, remains to be seen. Scroll down below for the official press release.
