2013 Ford Excursion Limited 6.0 Turbo Diesel 4 X 4
I purchased the vehicle about 9 years ago and it has been used as an extra vehicle, garage kept most of it's life.
It has very low miles and has always been up-kept properly with regular services.
I did buy the vehicle used and to the best of my knowledge, it has never been hit. I can tell you that 2 panels on the driver side were repainted as someone scratched the panels about 5 years ago.
The truck runs and drives as it should, and is mechanically excellent. Cosmetically taking into consideration the age I’ll give it about an 8 on a scale of 1-10. Some upgrades of interest:
Brakes were done less than 1000 miles ago.
20” wheels with Terra Grapler tires (Tires about 10k miles) Wheels have some rust.
Performance system for increased fuel economy and acceleration (truck is very fast)
Upgraded Pioneer stereo system with XM and Kicker Subwoofer with 1000watt Rockford Fosgate amplifier (I caught crap from wife about this one). The stereo system is about 1 year old and cost of $2000.
Entertainment system in the rear which I’m pretty sure works but could probably use a little TLC.
New struts and shocks about 4k miles ago.
Overall the truck is awesome. It is not perfect but for about $2000 it could be. It could really use a new set of wheels which would be the majority of the cost and a couple of bucks to touch up some other areas.
I have recently relocated from NJ to Fla which is the only reason I am selling the truck. It is really hard to evaluate the value of the vehicle because they are no longer made and this truck has traveled on 86k miles. I am starting the vehicle well below what I think it is worth with no reserve. There is no buy it now, because honestly I’m not sure what it should be.
Truck is located in Delray Beach, Florida.
Buyer must pick up truck within 3 days of auction's end unless other arrangements have been agreed upon ahead of time.
Deposit of $500 via PAYPAL due immediately upon auction's end.
Cash or Wire accepted as payment for balance.
Good luck bidding and if you are a serious buyer please feel free to contact me with any questions 908-601-8404

J Mays on the 2015 Ford Mustang
Thu, 05 Dec 2013J Mays, head of design at Ford, may be retiring from the company after 16 years, but not before showing the world his swan song: the 2015 Mustang. Ford officially revealed its new coupe and convertible to the public at events around the world on Thursday, including a live unveiling on ABC's Good Morning America, and Mays was in attendance at the automaker's home event in Dearborn, MI, which is where we caught up with him for a few words about his new baby.
"It's a joy" to design the Mustang, Mays told Autoblog, adding that this sixth-generation coupe is his "favorite design so far." Of course, the 2015 model takes cues from all of the generations that came before it, but Mays said it was important to edit down the specific elements from previous models, leaving just enough off to let the customer "participate and fill in the blanks."
"If it doesn't sell itself, you probably aren't a Mustang fan."
Project Ugly Horse alive and kicking at Road & Track
Thu, 29 Aug 2013The hallways of the Autoblog campus are much quieter now that Zach Bowman has taken his prose, along with his welders, wrenches and hammers, over to the digital pages of Road & Track, but that doesn't mean our favorite project Mustang is gone forever. Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
Last we saw of the Ugly Horse, Zach was strengthening up the '89 Mustang's chassis as he prepares to stuff the turbocharged, direct-injected EcoBoost engine of a Ford Focus ST under the hood. First things first, the old mill must go. Head on over to Road & Track to catch the latest chapter of Project Ugly Horse.
Ford announces bevy of recalls, 2 of which are recalls on recalls
Tue, 04 Nov 2014
Ford has announced five separate recalls, affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
It's not been a great couple of weeks for Ford. On October 30, the company announced a 205,000-unit recall, and yesterday, it was revealed that the Ford brand's year-over-year sales were down over 5,000 units while the company itself was down 3,000 units over through October. Now, the company has announced five separate recalls affecting 202,000 vehicles built between 2005 and 2014.
