2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer Cng/gasoline Bi-fuel on 2040-cars
Riverside, California, United States
For sale is a 2000 Ford Expedition Eddie Bauer 2WD, with 5.4L V8. This vehicle has a CNG (Compressed Natural Gas) conversion performed at the original dealer in Arizona when it was new. This conversion allows the vehicle to run on it's approx 7.5 gallon (equivalent) CNG tanks, giving about 75 miles of range on extremely cheap natural gas. After this range, the vehicle will still fully function on it's original 26 Gallon gasoline tank, so this gives you the best of both worlds (inexpensive daily around-town driving while still having long-range capability). With the 3rd row seat, this vehicle seats 8. SUV runs smooth on both fuel sources. Has a few dents and dings from 13 years of service.
For a map of CNG stations in your area, along with prices, check the following link: This is the solution to having a large SUV, with the driving cost of a mid-size sedan! Also available are 22" chrome rims that were on the vehicle when I purchased it. Ask me about purchasing them as well! No reserve set for this one-of-a-kind vehicle. Don't miss the opportunity to have a truly unique vehicle for an amazing price! |

2015 Roush Mustang lineup officially revealed
Thu, 02 Oct 2014
Just last week, Saleen revealed initial details of its tuning program for the new Ford Mustang. And now Roush is following suit.
Available in three stages - based on the V6 (RS), EcoBoost (RS1) and V8 (RS2) models - the 2015 Roush Mustangs all feature the venerable Ford tuner's latest R7 aero kit complete with remodeled fascia, five-blade grille, gaping air dam with integrated driving lamps and splitter. Around back there's a one-piece deck spoiler and "race-inspired lower aero-valance."
Consumer Reports says Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevy are big winners in brand perception survey
Wed, 05 Feb 2014According to Consumer Reports, the automotive brands that stand out in the minds of car buyers are, in order: Toyota, Ford, Honda and Chevrolet. This news comes after the magazine polled its readers, asking them to take into account vehicle quality, safety, performance, value, fuel economy, design/style, and technology/innovation - which are the factors that car shoppers are most influenced by.
It's important to note that this award is only about perception. In other words, it's perceived quality, not actual quality. "Often, perception can be a trailing indicator, reflecting years of good or bad performance in a category, and it can also be influenced by headlines in the media," said Jeff Bartlett, Consumer Reports deputy automotive editor.
The brand that made the biggest jump in perception amongst Consumer Reports readers is Tesla, which posted an impressive 47-point gain to finish in fifth place. Subaru is also notable for finishing in the top 10, despite being one of the smaller manufacturers doing business in the US. Scroll down below for all the details from Consumer Reports, if you're so inclined.
