HERE I HAVE ANOTHER ONE OF MY FANTASTIC HURRICANE SANDY SURVIVORS. THIS TRUCK WAS PAINSTAKENLY INSPECTED AND CHOSEN BECAUSE IT SHOWED VERY LITTLE TO NO SIGNS OF ANY FLOOD DAMAGE. I WAS ABLE TO HAND PICK THE CREAM OF THE CROP FORD TRUCKS FROM THE AUCTIONS RIGHT AFTER THE STORM. I FIRST MADE SURE EVERYTHING WAS IN WORKING ORDER. NOW I AM SYSTEMATICALLY GOING THROUGH ALL MY VEHICLES TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE LOOKING AND RUNNING GREAT BEFORE I SELL THEM.

THIS TRUCK HAS NO KNOWN PROBLEMS OF ANY KIND. EVERYHTING WORKS PERFECTLY, AS IT SHOULD. IT ALSO HAS NO BODY DAMAGE BESIDES THE SMALL PAINT BLEMMISH IN THE PICTURE I AM SHOWING, WHERE THE LOWER REAR HATCH BY THE STICKER IS BUBBLING SLIGHTLY. THATS IT. NOT A DING OR SCRATCH TO SPEAK OF BESIDES. THE TIRES ARE IN ALMOST NEW CONDITION, AS SEEN IN THE PICTURES. THIS TRUCK IS EXCEPTIONALLY CLEAN IN AND OUT. IN ALOT OF CASES THE INSURANCE COMPANIES OFFERED TO BUYOUT THESE CARS, RATHER THAN ACTUALLY ASSESING THE DAMAGE. THATS WHY THERE WERE SO MANY SUPER CLEAN CARS BEING PUT THROUGH THE AUCTIONS.

THIS TRUCK HAS LESS THAN 49,000 MILES ON IT. THE TITLE SHOWS 72,000 NOT ACTUAL MILES. THIS IS BECAUSE THE AUCTION DID NOT WANT TO TURN THE CARS ON AFTER THE STORM. SO EVERY CAR WAS ESTIMATED BY 12,000 MILES A YEAR ON AVERAGE. AND THAT IS WHAT THEY LISTED AS NOT ACTUAL. THE 48,283 IS THE MILEAGE THAT IS ON THE VEHICLE, JUST BY PUTTING A BATTERY IN, AND TURNING ON THE KEY. THIS IS THE ACTUAL MILEAGE.

THIS TRUCK HAS HEATED AND COOLED LEATHER MEMORY SEATS. FORD NAVIGATION AND SATELLITE RADIO. REAR ENTERTAINMENT SYSTEM. MOONROOF. POWER FOLDING THIRD ROW SEATING. POWER REAR HATCH. TWO FORD FACTORY REMOTES, AND PASSIVE ANTI THEFT KEYS. I DONT BELIEVE THERE ARE ANY OPTIONS OFFERED NOT FOUND IN THIS TRUCK. ITS ALL THERE.

I HAVE BEEN DRIVING THIS TRUCK SINCE I BOUGHT IT IN MARCH OF THIS YEAR. TO DATE THERE HAVE BEEN NO PROBLEMS AT ALL. I EVEN TOOK IT TO THE FORD DEALER TO HAVE THE COMPUTER BROUGHT UP TO DATE. THIS WAS DONE IN AUGUST. IT WAS ONLY $99, SO I FIGURED I MIGHT AS WELL GET IT BROUGHT UP TO THE LATEST UPDATE ON FILE.

THIS WILL BE SOLD WITH A FLORIDA SALVAGE TITLE. IN MANY STATES IT DOES NOT MEAN MUCH MORE THAN A DMV INSPECTOR COMING OUTSIDE TO CHECK THE MILEAGE,AND VIN NUMBER. (THATS HOW ITS DONE IN FLORIDA). SOME STATES REQUIRE OIL CHANGE BILLS AND THE LIKE. PLEASE CHECK WITH YOUR HOME STATE BEFORE YOU PURCHASE THIS TRUCK.

THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION. LIKE ALL MY AUCTIONS. HIGHEST BIDDER WINS. THATS IT. CHECK OUT MY FEEDBACK. I ONLY SELL FORDS. MOSTLY TRUCKS. THATS BECAUSE I KNOW THEM VERY WELL. I HAVE PURCHASED ALL THE SPECIAL TOOLS REQUIRED TO CHECK OUT MY FORDS.

THIS TRUCK IS BEING RE-OFFERED DUE TO A NO-SHOW BIDDER. "DOCKMAN39" THANK YOU FOR WASTING OVER A WEEK OF MY LIFE, AND DEPRIVING THE LEGITIMATE BIDDERS A CHANCE TO OWN A MAGNIFICENT VEHICLE!! PLEASE STAY OFF E-BAY!! WE WONT MISS YOU.

PLEASE CALL OR TEXT WITH ANY QUESTIONS.   KEITH 646 226 5550

Ford doubling 1.0L EcoBoost engine production

Fri, 06 Sep 2013

Ford's 1.0-liter EcoBoost three-cylinder engine hasn't been around that long, but it sounds like the engine is getting to be fairly popular in the automaker's global car lineup. The Detroit News is reporting that Ford has add a second shift that will allow its German engine plant to double daily output from 500 engines to 1,000.
The increased capacity is part of a plan to sell more than 300,000 vehicles a year with this engine in Europe by 2015. Europe is currently the only market where the smallest of the EcoBoost engines is offered (including in the Focus pictured above), but US-spec Fiesta models will be getting this mill for 2014.
Three-cylinder engines are expected to continue to grow in popularity in coming years with the report indicating that global production of these engines will double by 2018 to 9.8 million units. General Motors, BMW and Mitsubishi are all expected to introduce three-cylinder engines in the near term, as well.

Ford Explorer is America's new favorite police car

Mon, 24 Mar 2014

There is a new vehicle that you should keep an eye out for when you're going a little too fast down the Interstate. Ford's Explorer-based Police Interceptor Utility was the bestselling new law enforcement model in the country last year, and signs show that won't be changing anytime soon.
Ford sold 14,086 Interceptor Utilities in 2013, up 140% from the year before, and 10,897 Interceptor Sedans, up 31%, according to USA Today. Overall, the brand's police sales were up 48 percent, and they were enough to boost the company's law enforcement vehicle market share by 9 points to nearly 50 percent.
The success comes just a few years after it made the decision to finally retire the long-serving Crown Victoria-based cruiser for two more modern vehicles. "We had to reinvent the category," said Chris Terry of Ford Communications to Autoblog. The automaker had to convince police departments that a unibody chassis without a V8 could perform better than a model that had been a law enforcement staple for years.

Ford won't be releasing GT500 lap times for the 'Ring, or any other car

Wed, 27 Nov 2013

Trucks have towing capacity, EVs have driving range and performance cars have Nürburgring lap times. What do all three have in common? They should all be taken with a grain of salt. Currently, there is no sanctioned way to record lap times or verify production-spec cars - a lesson we recently learned with the 2015 Nissan GT-R Nismo - and until there is a way to do so (and there probably never will be), we'll never officially know the actual time it took for Ford to lap the 'Ring with its ultra-powerful Shelby GT500.
After posting a Ford-made video of a 2013 GT500 running around the 'Ring, the guys over at SVTPerformance.com (an enthusiasts forum not affiliated with Ford or SVT) wanted more answers. They got in touch with Ford's Global Performance Vehicle Chief Engineer Jamal Hameedi, who said until there is a way to verify the times and inspect the cars, Ford will not get involved with lap-time wars. In the email, Hameedi pointed out that the 'Ring is a useful tool in that it allows a wide spectrum of track conditions, but until there is a governed way to record times, there is no way to accurately compare cars head-to-head.
And as much as some may not like it, Hameedi speaks the truth. It really isn't possible to compare times from one car to another, unless those cars were lapping the same track at the same time with the same driver. Not that any of this means there won't be continuous wars by fans and manufacturers alike... in other words, feel free to voice your opinions in the Comments below.
