Hello you are bidding on a nice 2008 Ford Expedition Limited Funkmaster Flex edition. The vehicle sustained fresh water damage, the vehicle came from KY. The vehicles fluid and been flushed and refilled, also also all engine related filters have been changed. The vehicle runs and drives great. The power windows work, power seats work, dash lights come on, interior lights come on, ac control panel lights up and comes on. The vehicle basically just needs the interior taken apart cleaned and dried out, there maybe some modules that you have to replace that got wet, but the good thing is there are alot of wrecked ford expeditions in the salvage yards you can get good parts off of. The vehicles leather is in great shape, just needs cleaned, the same goes with the carpet. The vehicle is coming with a KY water damaged salvage title. We are not responsible if any of the above items that are said to be working quit working after vehicle is picked up. The vehicle is being sold as is water damaged is for sale locally and we do reserve the right to end the auction early. All of the wheels have some minor scratches in them will probably buff out. We spy the Ford Mustang King Cobra early at SEMA
Tue, 04 Nov 2014As is the case with most auto shows, waiting for the reveal of hot new models is the worst part. So, while our own Drew Phillips has been wandering the halls here in Las Vegas since they unlocked the doors for SEMA 2014, we didn't expect him to come back with any big reveals until later in the day. Until this happened.
Meandering by the Ford stand, Phillips eagle-eyed a trunk lid that caught his attention. Popping out from an otherwise draped 2015 Mustang, the matte black lid clearly has the name King Cobra embossed on the rear.
That name is interesting for a few reasons: to start, Ford hasn't used the Cobra name (without "Jet" attached) since way back in 2004, so a new snake is certainly something to take note of. Second, the King Cobra name dates all the way back to the ill-remembered Mustang II, meaning there is a clear link to Blue Oval history here.
Curtain officially comes down on Mercury as dealers remove signage
Mon, 03 Jan 2011The process of shutting down the Mercury is complete. Ford officially made the decision to close its mid-level brand in June of 2010. In the months that followed, Ford offered its dealers money to stop selling the cars, with production shutting down in September. The last Mercury, a Mariner, rolled off the assembly line in the beginning of October and former spokesperson Jill Wagner said her good-byes to both the car and her job. Now the last piece of the brand has come down as dealers are removing any and all Mercury signage from their lots.

Has the 2015 Ford Mustang gained hundreds of pounds?
Sun, 01 Jun 2014Automakers face competing interests when it comes to developing a new generation of vehicle. On the one hand, companies want to build their cars to be safer and better handling, with more equipment and maybe even larger dimensions over the model it's replacing. On the other hand, they strive to keep weight down to the benefit of both performance and fuel consumption. Usually something has to give, and in the case of the new 2015 Ford Mustang, those efforts may have resulted in a weight penalty of two or three hundred pounds.
This according to Blue Oval modifier Steeda Autosports, which states that "the 2015 Mustang ended up gaining 200-300 pounds in this remake". Despite the Mustang not being on the market yet, it would appear the leading Ford aftermarketer has been given early access to the 2015 model to help jumpstart its tuning efforts (a rather common development among trusted tuners). If Steeda's assertion is accurate, that would make the challenge of getting the new pony car up to speed for both Ford and aftermarket customizers like Steeda that much greater.
We're waiting for official word from Ford on the veracity of Steeda's claim, but if true, it's bound to be a bit of disappointing news for legions of Blue Oval performance enthusiasts. Watch this space for more.
