Defects are listed above. You are bidding on a 2005 Ford Explorer XLT, 4WD, mileage 136,659. I have all the records and books as well as all statements for repairs and oil changes and number for mechanic who did all the work on this car. New Alternator 11/08/2013, New front brakes, sway bar link and tire pressure monitor 08/26/2013, New Napa Battery 06/04/2013, New Rear Brakes and shift selector, and inspection 04/22/2013, New thermostat 02/15/2012, New upper and lower ball joints, left front coil, serpentine belt, fuel filter(all done 02/15/2012. Tires purchased 12/4/2012 at 113,778 miles, P235/70R16-MIC-LTX M/S2-SL ROWL-Cost was 803.96. These are 60,000 mile tires( You still have approx. 25,000 tread left. Engine is a very powerful 4.0 L V6 CYL. I will also convey my Sirius satellite radio. Has 3rd row seating. This car is a great car. It just needs a new transmission as the cost of approx. 2500.00. Inspection is good until May. My last ford explorer gave me 250,000 wonderful miles. This a great car and will have many more miles to give its new owner. Did not have time to wait for repair since I travel for my work. At the time of purchase car fax showed a fender bender to right side of vehicle in 09/2006. I had right side door painted last year due to scrapping pole of my carport backing out(Woman drivers) THIS VEHICLE IS VERY DRIVEABLE, STARTS RIGHT UP, JUST WILL NOT GO IN REVERSE!!!!

2015 Ford Focus
Tue, 14 Oct 2014Sitting down at the pre-drive briefing with Ford engineers ahead of sampling the refreshed 2015 Focus, water bottles clinked as we wet our whistles before Q&A. While pouring a glass, we noticed something stamped on the bottle label: "1L." One liter. We were palming the exact displacement of the EcoBoost engine our group was about to drive. This was undoubtedly coincidence (such bottles litter every conference and dinner table in Europe) but it served to drive home just how small the total swept volume of Ford's wunderkind powerplant really is. It's tiny.
Of course, this isn't our first run-in with the little triple - we've sampled its turbocharged charms before in Ford's smaller Fiesta. At that time, we found it had plenty of poke for the subcompact, but the larger C-segment Focus carries around another 450 pounds or so and pushes a wider profile through the air. Would the three-cylinder have the stuffing to make the most of the Focus' athletic chassis, or would it be a letdown? Would it be the same as it was when we tested it in a Euro-spec Focus a couple of years ago? There was nothing left for it but to head out on the bucolic roads surrounding Versailles the day after the Paris Motor Show and find out for ourselves.
Ford Transit customs ready to work for SEMA
Fri, 31 Oct 2014Ford's booth at the SEMA Show this year looks to have two, big themes. The Blue Oval is bringing over a dozen takes on the 2015 Mustang to the event, and it's now also announcing five customized versions on the 2015 Transit to join the modded pony cars. Each of the vans shows off a different use for the spacious commercial vehicle, from plush luxury to offroad ruggedness.
You probably don't think of the Transit as hitting the trails, but that's just what the take on the design from the Vegas Off-Road Experience (pictured above) is for. The company gives people the opportunity to drive a desert race truck, and this custom is meant to drive them to events. It should be able to take on the terrain a little better with off-road wheels and tires and fender flares, but inside passengers get serious luxury thanks to a 60-inch LED TV and video game systems.
Alternatively the blazing red Designed Travel Transit (right) is all about long road trips. The interior features four captain's chairs with heating, cooling and massage functions, and there's a 4K 50-inch TV to watch. For a touch of added class, the floor is made from hickory.
Mulally confirms he's not leaving Ford for Microsoft
Tue, 07 Jan 2014In recent months, rumors had been flying about Ford CEO Alan Mulally potentially leaving the company to take a position at Microsoft. Last we heard, Mulally was planning to stick around at Ford through at least 2014, and in an interview today, that bit was confirmed by the CEO himself.
According to the Associated Press, in a report from The Detroit News, Mulally said he will not be leaving Ford for Microsoft, and reiterated that he will remain at the Blue Oval through 2014, if not longer. Mulally has "no plans other than to serve Ford," according to the report.
Mulally did not say whether or not he had been in talks with Microsoft at any point. Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has said he plans to leave the software company sometime this year.
