I fixed the exhaust leak on the right side of the engine recently, then the left started leaking. The rear door (hatch) needs to have the hydraulic arms reattached, but sill opens and locks, just heavy and doesn't stay open without the hydraulics. Minor rust spots. Center console cover has a minor wear hole. Otherwise, the vehicle is in very good working condition and no other known mechanical issues.Only one accident that I know of. Vehicle was parked in front of my house and a neighbor backed into the door. The door was replaced seven years ago and have not had any issues with it."

This vehicle runs great, very strong. Have owned it for over seven years and was always kept up to date on it's oil changes and maintenance. I am a non-smoker and never allowed anyone to smoke in it. Very good condition. It has been fully detailed and is very clean.

AC is very cold, recently charged.

I have a four keys and four remotes, which cost over $100 each at the dealer. Also have extra tail light kit, which cost $50 on eBay. All included.

After listing this vehicle, I noticed there were a few issues on the AutoCheck.

I purchased the vehicle with 90k miles on it in 2006. There were no signs of Odometer tampering. I can only assume this was a clerical error after looking at the history.

The only accident listed is the one I described where the door was replaced. No structural damage to the vehicle.

The title is clean, no loans or liens. I had a duplicate title issued last month, since I lost or misplaced the title.

Vaughn Gittin Jr. spends a great deal of his workday going sideways, but he's usually alone in the endeavor. For a guy that is clearly a dog lover, we imagine that can get a bit lonely.
That won't be a problem for Gittin in this latest video, which features the racer hanging out with his good pal Brody (a dog) and everyone's favorite hot hatch, the Ford Fiesta ST.

Ex-GM VP LaNeve takes over Lincoln ad agency

Those of you that caught yesterday's op-ed about Lincoln will have heard already, but Mark LaNeve has taken the helm at Team Detroit. Once the North American vice president of sales, service and marketing for General Motors, LaNeve will now head up the agency that handles all of Ford advertising. LaNeve will also run the account for Lincoln. While at GM from 2001 to 2009, the exec oversaw ad campaigns like Cadillac's Breakthrough and sales initiatives like "Employee Pricing for Everyone."
He left in 2009 to join Allstate as chief marketing officer, oversaw the creation of the Mayhem ad spots and was moved into the role of VP of agency operations overseeing Allstate's 10,000 agents. He resigned from the insurer in February 2012 for personal reasons and joined Team Detroit in August 2012 as chief operating officer, in charge of satellite offices in New York and internationally. He replaces ex-CEO Cameron McNaughton, and will continue to hold the title of COO.
Lincoln is trying to get its 2013 back to rights after putting big dollar commercials for the 2013 MKZ on television then having production glitches preventing cars from getting to dealerships. With rumors of a relaunch in the works, it's no surprise LaNeve has been given the reins - and from here it looks like the brand is desperate for the kind of magic he's proved he can marshal. Perhaps he can start by calling a mulligan on the renaming exercise that gave us the hoary "Lincoln Motor Company" and go back to oh, say, "Lincoln." Then he can ask the product folks to get to work on the MKC concept...

Racing takes on many forms in the automotive world. There are sanctioned events that are as varied and diverse as NASCAR, Formula One, Global Rallycross and drag racing, and to be good enough to win competitively in one discipline, you need to have a specialized vehicle. Or do you?
Ford decided to find out what would happen when its Global Rallycross Fiesta ST, driven by Tanner Foust, lined up against its Mustang Cobra Jet drag racer, driven by Roy Hill. In one lane, Tanner has just 2.0 liters of displacement to work with, while Roy has more than double that, at 5.0 liters. Evening the playing field a bit, Tanner has a massive turbocharger and all-wheel drive; Roy has to filter all his supercharged power through the rear wheels only.
So, who wins? We suggest you see for yourself in the press release and video below. And we're holding out hope that Tanner's challenge at the end results in another video from Ford Racing...
