I am re-listing this truck due to not having it listed correctly. It would not allow me to upload more pictures. This is a 1959 Ford F100. It runs and drives great. Bought truck to go to Rat Rod shows with. Made a few changes to the truck since I've had it and now I don't have time for it. Hate to see it go but figure it needs a good home to someone that will use it more. The motor is a 305 out of a '94 mustang. Tranny is a 3-speed auto. Has a brand new alternator and optima battery. Alternator that was on the truck when I purchased it was to small and also was not grounded allowing it to charge. Has a brand new Edelbrock carb, the original one was cracked allowing carb to suck too much air. There is a brand new fuel tank behind the seat that was recently installed. Truck has air bags both front and rear. Has left and right controls in front. Rear is linked together. The rear was separate but I changed it shortly after to make it easier to set ride height. I have all valves to put it back if wanted. The rear sits on the ground. The front does not lay all the way down. This was my next mod to the truck but could not find time. The front clip is off a older model Camaro and could be made to lay all the way but would require pulling the motor. Last project on the truck was covering the rear suspension/air bags. I built a frame and used old fence board to get the best look. The tailgate is of off a 1946 ford. It was welded shut by the previous owner and I was able to get it working properly. The "Patina" on this truck is hard to find. It is one of a kind. It turns heads everywhere I go. Local pick up preferred. If you want it shipped buyer is responsible for all shipping charges and handling of shipping. I do not have time to mess with shipping quotes. Will require a $1000.00 deposit through pay pal at auction end. The balance must be cash in hand upon pick up or certified funds must clear before truck is picked up or shipped. I have clear LA title in hand. I reserve the right to end auction early at anytime due to local listing. Let me know if you have any questions. Thanks and good luck.

Ford Fiesta ST gets worked out on the track
Sun, 10 Mar 2013We're big fans of the turbocharged Ford Focus ST, and we're plenty excited that the Blue Oval will be offering a similar treatment on the smaller Fiesta here in the United States, too. We first saw the production-ready Fiesta ST five-door at the Los Angeles Auto Show last fall, and Ford has now released this video of a Euro-spec three-door ST being flung around the track.
But not just any track - the challenging Track 7 of Ford's Lommel Proving Grounds in Belgium. The course features 20 turns and plenty of elevation changes along its 2.7-mile loop, and David Put, a vehicle dynamic specialist at Ford, shows just how good the pint-sized Fiesta ST is at handling the lot, even getting the smallest ST up on three wheels every now and then.
It sure does look like a lot of fun, and makes us really eager for our chance to try this ourselves. Scroll down to see the hot little Ford getting busy.
Ford F-Series Super Duty prototype reduced to smoldering mess of aluminum and steel [UPDATE]
Mon, 04 Aug 2014The most important bit of information you need to know after looking through our high-res gallery of images depicting a prototype 2016 Ford F-Series Super Duty pickup truck burning to the ground is that nobody was hurt. There were two engineers inside the vehicle when it caught fire, and both exited to safety.
That's the good news. The bad news is that the truck, which appears to have been testing in Death Valley, appears to be a total loss, minus, of course, whatever information Ford can glean from the conflagration - particularly tracing it back to its root cause. Besides that, we're also expecting the body of the next Super Duty to be hewn from aluminum, as is the case with its smaller brother, the brand-new F-150. Note the little aluminum droppings littering the roadway as apparent proof of that.
Our spy photographers report that it took just 21 minutes for the F-Series Super Duty to burn completely to the ground. The fire appears to have started in the driver-side front wheel well, spreading to engulf the entire front end in three minutes. We can't confirm the source of the blaze, but we're curious if the car's black vinyl cladding, meant to obscure the secrets within, contributed to the fire.
Ford Transit Skyliner Concept is a Gulfstream for the road
Sat, 12 Apr 2014If you are afraid to fly or just want to arrive at your ultimate destination in absolute comfort, then the Ford Transit Skyliner concept might be the perfect vehicle for you. Built by Galpin Auto Sports and based on a 2015 Transit, the van is basically a private jet on wheels. It even has a touch of Transformers about it with the ability to switch between four modes by pressing a button in a smartphone app.
Based on the long wheelbase, high-roof model with 487 cubic feet of cargo space and 6 feet, 9.5 inches of interior height, the Skyliner has movable captains chairs that shift around among four modes. In theater mode, the seats turn and recline to face a 52-inch retractable movie screen with 7.2 surround sound. For business, a motorized table unfolds, and the chairs gather around it. There is a mode for tailgating where the door opens four-feet wide, and, when traveling, passengers can recline back with footrests that extend for maximum comfort.
To make the ride even plusher, there is a satellite and media server to meet your entertainment needs, and there is even a built-in bar in the back. If this Ford had a bathroom, you could live in it. Of course, you would need to hire a driver to enjoy all the amenities in the back.
