Here I have is a 1960 F-100 Long Bed Truck,,,, has a clear Nevada Title

Now before you go drooling over it,, the Paint Job is terrible, Body Work is terrible that was done by a previous owner when we bought it in Nevada, Now as far as the Body I can say and will back it that it's 100% Rust Free.. Inside and Outside

Dash has been cut for radio,, Outside Chrome Grill on truck does have some small dings that canbe fixed and rechromed,, NO I do not have any bumpers so don't ask ?, Like I said this truck is basically the way you see it for the exceptions of what small things we did to get it running and drive up and down the road.. I would still trailer it since tires are just fair

It has all New Glass all around, All new Rubber around the Glass, New Oustside mirrors, New Ignition Switch, New Battery, I put these wheels on since it came in with oversize wheels, so we installed these wheels, But tires are so,so..

Now as far as running, Motor is a 302 4 barrell, 4 speed granny gear trans which is original for this truck, But has a adapter to do that conversion, Motor runs good, coulduse tune up, Transmission shifts good, Hyd. Clutch also works good as well brakes, Headlights and tail lights work good, Instrument panel is inside just the way we brought it back so will need it installed with some wiring, There was this mechanical oil pressure gauge inside to show the oil pressure which runs around 30 to 40 lbs.

Now like I said the paint is so,so, this is just the way it was brought back, But like I said it's 100% Rust Free just look at the pics of inside of the cab and inside of bed

Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study

Tue, 28 Oct 2014

Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."

National Geographic Channel balances Ford F-150 on four coffee mugs

Wed, 29 Jan 2014

Proving that there is still something to be learned on television these days, National Geographic Channel recently introduced a new series called Duck Quacks Don't Echo. On the first episode of this science/comedy show, host Michael Ian Black proposes the idea that a truck can be supported with a ceramic coffee mug under each wheel - yes, he says that the entire weight of a truck can be balanced on just four coffee mugs.
Looking to find out whether this is fact or myth, the show uses a regular cab Ford F-150, weighing in at 4,800 pounds, and four average coffee mugs. Lowered onto the mugs, the idea is quickly put to the test. Can the cups hold up under 4,800 pounds? If so, what, exactly, would it take to break them? Scroll down below to find out.

Next Ford Mustang to drop 400 pounds

Thu, 15 Aug 2013

The Ford Mustang is already the lightest of the current crop of muscle cars, at around 3,600 pounds for a GT coupe with the six-speed manual transmission. That's almost 260 pounds less than a Chevrolet Camaro SS and about 450 pounds less than a Dodge Challenger R/T, which means the Mustang has a pretty big advantage when it comes to handling, braking, accelerating and economy. More good news: The next Mustang will be even lighter.
According to a report from Edmunds, the sixth-generation Mustang, which is set to debut at the 2014 North American International Auto Show, will shed an additional 400 pounds of body fat. That 11-percent weight reduction will be thanks to lightweight materials, with a particular focus on using stronger, but less material in construction. Aluminum will feature heavily, but Edmunds' inside source warns that there is "nothing terribly exotic" coming to the original pony car.
The other big news is that the new Mustang will be smaller overall. It's going to be 15-inches shorter than the 188.5-inch Mustang on sale today, while it'll also be 6.5 inches narrower. Shorter overhangs, both in the front and rear, are also good signs for those that want an agile Mustang.
