WELL AS MUCH AS I HATE TO PART WITH HER SHE HAS TO GO. 65 SHORTBED ,WITH A 4 SPEED TOP LOADER,352 CI .tHIS TRUCK WENT THRU A FRAME OFF RESTO ABOUT 5 YEARS AGO DOWN TO EVERY BOLT WIRE ,COG,GEAR ETC ETC EVERYTHING IS THE WAY IT CAME OFF THE LINE DOWN THE SPARKPLUG WIRES, THEN I TOOK HER TO A FEW SHOWS AND THEN STARTED A COUPLE OTHER PROJECTS SO SHE WENT INTO THE GARAGE COVERED.SHE WAS ON THE COVER OF C&G EARLEY FORD PARTS CATALOG AND A COUPLE FORD BOOKS AS WELL SHE WON BOTH SHOWS SHE ENTERED; NOT MUCH TO SAY OTHER THAN ,THAT EVERY DETAIL WAS RESEARCHED AND I SPENT A YEAR OR SO TRYING TO FIND ALL THE CORRECT PARTS,INTERIOR CLOTH,BOLTS,WIRING TAPE,ETC ETC, THE ONLY THAT I CHANGED WAS THAT I CHROMED THE ALUMINUM CUZ I HATE POLISHING IT so 2 guys stood me up on this so please don't waste my time unless your serious I also lowered the reserve so if you want it go ahead and bid

The big dune jump and the damage done
Mon, 20 May 2013The Silver Lake sand dunes see their fair share of well-built trophy trucks executing impressive jumps. Drivers build insane pieces of machinery for the express purpose of sailing through the air like mad men and women.
Mike Higgins is no stranger to the area. His heavily modified Ford trophy truck has gone flying through the sky on more than one occasion, but he recently bit off more than he could chew. After hitting a particularly lofty dune, Higgins went airborne for a ridiculous 180 feet before becoming intimately familiar with the finer points of gravity.
While Higgins nailed the jump, his landing fell short of wowing the judges. The impact very nearly broke his truck in two. Despite the mechanical mayhem, the driver walked away without a scratch, proving that occasionally miracles really do happen. You can check out the jump and the subsequent destruction below for yourself. Be warned: there's a fair bit of foul language.
'Born of a Blue Sky' brings the Amelia Island Concours to you
Fri, 03 May 2013The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has more clout every year and is getting a reputation as Pebble Beach minus the madness. Held in March this year, it celebrated Ducati and the 50-year anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Corvette Sting Ray, Porsche 911 and the Ford GT40.
Justin Lapriore was there, and seemingly everywhere, getting footage of the various wares on display on the lawns and the sand and the runway. The resulting video, Born of a Blue Sky, is a 16-minute survey of some of the finer sights and plenty of engine sounds. Check it out below.
Ford looks back on 50 years of the Mustang in Detroit
Tue, 14 Jan 2014Ford has something special sitting in its booth here at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. In fact, it brought two special somethings in the form of the Ford Mustang 1 Concept that first saw the light of day in 1962 and the very first production Mustang that rolled off the production line in 1964.
These classic creations are sharing floor space with the brand-new 2014 Mustang in honor of the pony car's 50th Anniversary. Since Ford's latest 'Stang already made its auto show debut (at a number of locations, including Los Angeles), we think it's pretty cool that the Blue Oval did something special for its home-town show.
