SOLID SOUTHERN V-8 SHORT BED TRUCK….PERFECT TO MAKE A STREET ROD/CRUISER!!!!

1968 FORD F-100 TRUCK

SHORT BED

POWER STEERING

Original 1968 Ford F100 in good condition. Truck shows 66,901 on odometer (I would say the body has 166,901 miles).  It has a late model V-8 engine with an automatic transmission. Engine runs good, and transmission shifts well.  The truck drives good and straight down the road.

Body is in good shape - body panels are straight, only a few very small areas of rust spots.  The only rust concern on this truck is in the drivers floor pan area and the one side of cab mounts.

Good Chrome Grill!!!

All Glass is in good shape!!

Truck has tilt steering and a cool 8 ball on steering wheel!!

BUY IT AND DRIVE IT LIKE IT IS, THIS TRUCK LOOKS GOOD LIKE IT IS.

Truck was built at Michigan plant in June of 1968.

This truck is an excellent candidate for a customized truck that needs little body work and little mechanical work (power steering whines just a little at idle).

Please ask any questions for more information and if needed, more pictures.  This is a 46 year old truck.  It has very solid original sheet metal.  The paint still has a decent shine to it, driver quality.

Inspections are welcome, just give me a call or email!

2015 Ford Mustang: Obsessively covered [w/videos + poll]

Thu, 05 Dec 2013

Here at Autoblog, we've officially stamped December 5, 2013, as Ford Mustang Day. Sure, the sixth-generation Pony Car started leaking out onto the web days ago, but all of the official, non-embargoed hotness has come out today. And man, there's been a lot.
In terms of new car debuts, this is a really big one - not unlike all of the Corvette madness that kicked off the 2013 automotive season. So to make sure you haven't missed anything, here's a wrap-up of everything you need to know about the 2015 Ford Mustang.

Motor Trend pits Camaro 1LE vs Mustang with Performance Pack, surprises ensue

Thu, 16 Oct 2014

With the 2015 Ford Mustang firmly on the scene, the inevitable comparisons with its arch rival, the 2015 Chevrolet Camaro are just starting to trickle out. Over the next several months, you're likely to be inundated by every outlet's muscle car comparison, whether it be the turbocharged Ford against the V6 Chevy, a V8-powered convertible comparo or what we have here, a competition between each vehicle's performance upgrade.
Motor Trend has pitted the Camaro SS 1LE against a Mustang with the GT Performance Pack for a comprehensive series of comparisons on the test stage, street and finally, at Willow Springs with ace Randy Pobst behind the wheel. As per usual, we aren't about to spoil this one for you.
So, hit the play button, have a look and then let us know what you think in Comments.

Rowan Atkinson crashes at Goodwood Revival

Sun, 14 Sep 2014

To quote Harry Hogge (played by Robert Duvall) in Days of Thunder, "rubbin, son, is racin'." That can mean some unfortunate damage to high-end racing machinery, which may be repaired easily enough in stock car racing, but when it comes to vintage racing, the stakes can be that much higher. And yet incidents do occur, like at this weekend's Goodwood Revival.
Among the many competitors taking part in the retro racing event in England was none other than Rowan Atkinson, the actor perhaps best known for playing Mr. Bean. Driving a classic Ford Falcon Sprint in the Shelby Cup event, Atkinson (pictured above at the 2012 revival) reportedly crashed head-on into another car on track.
According to reports, the two cars up spun out. The driver in between managed to avoid a pile-up, but Atkinson couldn't steer clear and hit the obstructing vehicle. Fortunately Rowan walked away unscathed (and, we imagine, in a humorous manner), but while we don't know how extensive the damage was to the Falcon, it was enough to take it out of the race.
