Up for sale is a 1969 Ford F100 2wd short bed pickup. This truck rides and drives great but does need some TLC. Would make a great shop truck or a daily driver. I bought it with the intentions to completely restore it and I found something else. Truck has a great look and a solid body.
Features
360 V8 engine with 3 on the tree manual transmission. Shifts very smooth
Engine runs great the only issue I have seen is it back fires sometimes when you idle down.
Not sure the actual miles but it says 38,000 which I assume is 138,000 because it turns over after 99,999.
Factory heat and air (heat works but I haven't hooked the air up and not sure if it works. There is no belt on the compressor but it is not locked up
Newer paint job probably 3-5 years old but not the greatest paint job it looks like it was done cheap and has blemishes.
Brand new paint under the hood and in the engine compartment
Body has no dents
Mickey Thompson wheels
All the lights work
Hooker headers
Newer 2 Barrel Carb not sure how old but looks fairly new
Dual exhaust
Interior is all there with a new dash pad cover and good condition seat
The carpet is old and faded and the paint on the interior is rough but metal is solid.
Trim pieces on the interior and exterior look to be original and they have scratches on them
No power steering
Drum brakes all the way around
There is some places on the exterior paint that is cracked and have surface rust look at the pics. Other than that
I have not found any rust on the body.

I have tried to represent this truck as fair as possible but there might be something I am leaving out so
If you have any questions feel free to ask I will check my ebay messages frequently. Please only bid if you intend on paying. No trades and this vehicle is being sold as is with no warranty and no refunds. Buyer is responsible for shipping. I can assist you with shipping if necessary.
A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours after auction ends. For the rest of the payment I will accept cash or a bank wire transfer only.

NO TITLE this is an Alabama vehicle in which they did not give titles on vehicles in 1969. The state that you live in should be able to provide a title for you. Will be BILL OF SALE only.

Thank you for looking

Ford's Farley apologizes for saying Blue Oval tracks customers with GPS

Fri, 10 Jan 2014

Ford marketing head honcho Jim Farley made waves at CES this week by telling show attendees, "We know everyone who breaks the law, we know when you're doing it." according to a report by Business Insider. Farley continued by saying, "We have GPS in your car, so we know what you're doing. By the way, we don't supply that data to anyone."
Farley has since amended his statement, saying that Ford dose not, in fact, track its customers in their cars "without their approval or consent."
Apparently carried away with a hypothetical notion, Farley was attempting to describe how Ford might be able to employee aggregated user data for things like accurate traffic reporting and pattern spotting. A Ford spokesperson confirmed with Business Insider that its GPS units are not sharing the whereabouts of drivers, though there are a few on-board services that might do so. After opting in to the services (and presumably being made aware of any/all tracking and data collection), Ford's Sync Services Directions and Crew Chief software do, in fact, allow data collection as a means of improving both systems. Farley added that the opt-in data is not shared, even when being tracked.

Ford Mustang GT350 drops some camo

Mon, 03 Feb 2014

Now that we've poured over the 2015 Ford Mustang in its standard form, it's time to look ahead. We already knew (and heard - literally) that Ford was working on a higher-performance version of its 'Stang to replace the Shelby GT500, and earlier reports have stated that it will simply be called the GT350.
We don't have a ton of detail to go on, but this latest set of spy photos clearly shows a hood-mounted air scoop, which suggests a forced-induction powerplant is under the hood. However, this disagrees with earlier reports that the GT350 will be all motor, using a naturally aspirated engine to send massive horsepower to the rear wheels. Our spies also point out the functional vent aft of the front wheels to allow for better airflow, and the massive quad exhaust pipes can be seen, clear as day.
Expect to see the Mustang GT350 in April, when it debuts at the New York Auto Show in conjunction with the Pony's 50th anniversary. In the meantime, have a look at our gallery above to see the latest shots of the hot Mustang out testing.

Ford cleans up painting process with cameras

Thu, 22 Aug 2013

Knowing how the bacon gets made rarely entices us and, in the same vein, the same usually goes for knowing about how new cars get painted. But in both instances, however, quality - or a lack thereof - is instantly obvious. In terms of the latter, Ford is showing off its new paint quality process with 3D Dirt Detection Technology to find imperfections in vehicle paint more easily and more quickly.
This process - being performed on the F-150 SVT Raptor above - uses 16 computer-controlled cameras to create a three-dimensional model (inset) of the vehicle to detect flaws in the paint including dirt particles, which can then be buffed out manually. Ford says this new technology cuts down on time spent looking for paint flaws and gives workers more time to correct those that are discovered.
Currently, Ford only uses its 3D Dirt Detection Technology system at three factories (the Dearborn, MI facility, along with those in Louisville, Kentucky and Valencia, Spain), but it will soon spread to five more plants in North America. Ford has released a video and press release for this innovative and unexpectedly interesting process, both of which are posted below.
