Ford F-100 Shortbed Patina Pickup Lowered Vintage Fuller on 2040-cars

US $16,000.00
Year:1965 Mileage:20339
Location:

Atlanta, Georgia, United States

Atlanta, Georgia, United States

"Patina Turner" was bought in February this year and I had planned on driving it through the winter.   Plans change however as I have found a rare motorcycle to buy....hence she's got to go.  My loss is your gain.

Check out our other work at fullerhotrods.com  as we are a professional build shop located in Atlanta, GA.  We can help you find transport if necessary.

We started by stripping everything and pressure washing the entire pickup.  Bedliner spray was then shot inside the cab and under the vehicle.  Sound deadening was added throughout the interior which makes for a nice quiet comfortable ride even in the Atlanta heat.  New windshield, side glasses, and rubber was professionally installed throughout the cab.

American Autowire kit was used to completely rewire the pickup from end to end.  Gas tank hot tanked and new sender installed.  Most gauges work including the fuel, temp, ammeter, and oil pressure.  New Fuel Pump.

302 engine came with the truck but we rebuilt most of the common items.  New Aluminum Edelbrock Manifold, 4 barrel carb, Alternator, Belts, Hoses, Griffin Radiator cools awesome!

Headers are connected to the TIG welded Magnaflow 2.5" Stainless exhaust that runs through the bed sides...Sounds bitchin!  Rumbly but not too loud.

New Driveshaft U joints were added and balanced underneath.  Lowering Arms in the front are used with new bushings.  New Drum brakes throughout including dual master cylinder for more safety.  E brake works.  New Shocks and limiter straps in the rear.

Wheels are RARE Accelco Aluminum wheels from Richmond California with Coker whitewall American Classics.  15" X 7" look awesome and you probably will never see another set.  Stainless lug nuts.

Much of the Patina is real and some is faked by an Atlanta set painter.

No title, bill of sale only.  For sale locally so I may pull if that happens.

I have driven this car daily for the last couple months so we know its reliable now.  Starts everytime and is just a ball to ride in.  Gonna miss this one!

2015 Ford Mustang potentially 'leaked' by Car and Driver

Mon, 28 Oct 2013

Few upcoming debuts have been as eagerly anticipated as the all-new Ford Mustang that's expected to debut shortly as the Mustang's 50th anniversary year approaches. Well, Car and Driver magazine would have us wait no longer as it claims to be leaking Ford's new global pony car early.
Of course what you're looking at is just as likely to be a composite rendering based on what C/D projects the new Mustang to look like, but to our eyes it looks spot on. Combining design traits from the Evos Concept with classic Mustang signatures and Ford's Aston-inspired grille treatment, C/D's images - including a complete 360-degree digital navigator - show a Mustang not only for the modern era, but also for global distribution, taking a quintessentially American car to markets its predecessors were never designed for.
Those global considerations are expected to spell the demise of the outgoing Mustang's holdout live rear axle in favor of an independent suspension, and a slight constricting of the exterior dimensions. And thanks to a separate leak, coming from a digital survey, we have apparent confirmation of what will power the new pony car. While the existing 3.7-liter V6 and 5.0-liter V8 engines will apparently carry over with only slight adjustments in output, the survey confirms a new 2.4-liter turbo four will be positioned in between them, offering slightly more power than the V6 but markedly improved fuel economy for a manageable $560 premium over base.

US Air Force Thunderbirds Mustang fetches $400K at auction

Wed, 07 Aug 2013

For the last six years, Ford has created a special version of the Mustang with a military aviation theme, and then donated the car to the Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) to be auctioned off at the annual AirVenture event, also known as The World's Greatest Aviation Celebration. The money raised goes to the EAA Young Eagles program to inspire the "aviation pioneers of tomorrow," and this year's 2014 Ford Mustang GT US Air Force Thunderbirds Edition was won with a final bid of $398,000.
Celebrating 60 years of the USAF's Thunderbirds, this Mustang GT is the only one of its kind with a paint job matching the Thunderbirds' F-16 Falcon jets and some Ford Racing performance added on for good measure. Including this car, Ford has helped raise around $2.3 million for the charity with the biggest auction price coming from the first year of the program, the F-22 Raptor-inspired Mustang AV8R from 2008, which sold for $500,000.

How Ford hid the 2015 Mustang from spy photographers

Fri, 20 Dec 2013

Now that we've finally seen the 2015 Ford Mustang, it's fun to go back and look at the spy shots we spent months pouring over, trying to dissect what was under all the camouflage. For the most part, Ford did a good job of concealing the car from spy photographers, and it released a video showing how much work went into doing so.
As crude as the Mustang's camo looked, all of the hard plastic, foam, vinyl and ratchet straps were actually created and put in place by a specific design team. The whole idea was to hide the car's identity, but it certainly ended up acting as a magnet for attention, too. According to Ford's press release, it took less than an hour for spy shots to appear online after the car was taken on public roads for the very first time - this is likely in reference to our first official spy shots of the Mustang from June, shown in the gallery below.
Scroll down for a press release and video, which shows footage of the 2015 Ford Mustang testing with minimal camouflage. This is probably the same track session where we got our first look at the Mustang's face back in August.
