Thank you every one for emailing and looking at my truck.

I have had a lot more interest than I thought I would..

A lot of people ask about rust..

IS THERE RUST,
(The answer) yes the truck does have a few spots that will need repairs.
Worst spot is the picture inside the passenger rear door.
Some one did do repairs on the floors before I got the truck, small patch panels. and did nice work..
It will need front cab mounts at some point as almost every truck this time does now..
The roof has the normal rust around the drip edge that will need addressed at some point..
But for a mid west truck its pretty nice.

I would urge the buyer to come inspect the truck before buying if at all possible..

On Jan-23-14 at 05:54:07 PST, seller added the following information:

I forgot to add the truck has Rear sway bar from 97 F250 as well..

The E brake cable brackets are billet ones I made.. So it uses 96-97 f250 rear E brake cables and I had a custom E brake cable made that ties into the stock 67 E brake petal.

On Jan-27-14 at 08:27:22 PST, seller added the following information:

I forgot to mention the truck does not have a tail gate, or rear bumper..

I do have oem fore bumper brackets for a chrome rear bumper.
They took me 6 months to find a usable set..

Watch this lead sled go rallying in Finland

Thu, 19 Jun 2014

Custom cars generally fit into neat little boxes in terms of how they are used. For example, you're unlikely to see a modded Corvette going rock crawling; it's just not what it's made for (though we bet it'd look awesome, for a minute). In the same way, chopped, channeled and customized '50s hot rods aren't really meant to go racing. They look great and go fast, but they are generally more cruisers than sports cars.
However, if this video is any indication, the people of Finland don't adhere in these stereotypes, because this rodder is happy to play in the dirt with his lead sled.
According to the video, the driver is a member of the Ford-Freak Club of Finland, and he clearly knows how to have some fun. Possibly inspired by his country's great rally drivers, he gets the tail way out going around this gently curving gravel track. The stunt is somewhat reminiscent of the stock cars races on the sand at Daytona Beach, and this is probably close to what it sounded like too. Scroll down to watch a very cool Finn getting his hot rod a little dirty.

Detroit 3 small cars lay an egg in latest Consumer Reports reliability study

Tue, 28 Oct 2014

Consumer Reports has released its Annual Auto Reliability Survey and the results are, in a word, interesting. While we already covered the score-damaging effects of infotainment systems, there's another big angle to the data that's getting some attention - the utterly dismal scores of the Detroit Three's small car offerings.
The turbocharged Dodge Dart and Chevrolet Cruze, as well as the Ford Fiesta were their respective brands' lowest-scoring models, a stat that's made worse by the fact that the American automakers finished 25th, 21st and 23rd, respectively.
That's not acceptable for The Detroit Free Press' auto critic, Mark Phelan, who has penned a scathing critique of the D3's small car reliability scores, arguing that GM, Ford and Chrysler are "out of excuses."

Ford brings FPV Falcon production in house [w/video]

Thu, 21 Feb 2013

For the first time since 1976, Ford of Australia is bringing the assembly of its stonking Ford Performance Vehicle line back in-house to the company's Broadmeadows and Geelong facilities. That's a point of pride for FPV, which builds high-performance versions of the Australian Falcon model like the F6, GS and the heroic GT seen here.
In the video below, we hear FPV employees talking in hushed tones about the important legacy that cars like the GT have for Australian gearheads of all stripes, and how proud they are to say that hand-built machines like this GT R-Spec with its Boss 355 engine are now rolling out of their home base. For our part, we're just dying to drive this version of the Coyote V8; the engine is rocking a "Miami" supercharger from Harrop and makes some 450 horsepower.
Continue on below for the video, or you can check out some images of the new FPV at the facility, as well as a gallery of the GT R-Spec car.
