This truck is in excellent shape with many new parts:

  • New upper and lower ball joints and tie rod ends
  • New steering stabilizer
  • New solenoid
  • New Rancho RS5000 shocks
  • New Heavy Duty water pump
  • New A/C compressor
  • New alternator
  • New power steering pump
  • New drive shaft carrier bearing
  • New neutral safety switch
  • New external transmission cooler
  • New rear brakes
  • New belts and hoses

This truck is an F250 HD which means it is basically a SRW F-350.  It has the same springs in the rear and heavy duty sway bar with a full floating axle as an F350 and has most of the towing capacity.  The payload capacity is around 3,220 lbs.  The truck weighs 5,580 with me and 2 full tanks of gas.  The GVWR is 8,800 lbs so 8,800 - 5,580 = 3,220 lb payload capacity.

This truck does not leak oil or transmission fluid and does not smoke.  I have changed oil in this truck religiously every 3,000 miles using Pennzoil 10W-30.

This truck has many features:

  • Happijac camper tie-down system
  • Flowsound exhaust system (generic Flowmaster)
  • Trailer towing package with Kelsey electric trailer brake controller
  • Class III hitch with 2" receiver
  • Complete spare tire carrier mounted under rear gas tank
  • 3.55 gears
  • Interior is like new with no tears
  • Cargo lamp
  • Like new "E" rated tires (3,042 lb max)
  • Electronic Overdrive transmission
  • Cold A/C
  • Dual fuel tanks (37.2 gallons total)
  • Strong 7.5L motor (no exhaust flange leak like most 7.5L)

I take great pride in maintaining every vehicle I own and I fix anything that breaks or shows signs of wear.  This is a daily driver and extremely reliable.   I really love this truck and hate to sell it but I bought a newer F-350 dually.  You won't be disappointed in this truck and it will do anything you ask it to do.  If you need the power of an F-350 but don't want a dually, then this truck is for you.

2015 Ford Mustang production starts in Flat Rock

Thu, 28 Aug 2014

Today's the day, Ford fans. Production has officially commenced on the sixth-generation 2015 Mustang at the company's Flat Rock, MI factory. As production ramps up, sales should kick off in the coming months.
The production news isn't just a bit deal for American fans. With the new Mustang getting a bespoke right-hand-drive variant, the pony car's worldwide availability has swollen to include 120 different countries, including its home nation.
"Mustang is and will continue to be an automotive icon," Joe Hinrichs, Ford's president of the Americas, said in a statement. "Expanding its availability globally affords our customers around the world the opportunity to have a true firsthand Mustang experience - one unlike any other."

Ken Block's 1965 Ford Mustang Hoonicorn RTR and CR Supercars Villain are retro done right

Wed, 05 Nov 2014

Gymkhana king Ken Block has had a pretty simple car history in his trademark videos, starting out with Subaru Impreza rally cars before moving into Ford Focus racers for the past four installments. His next video, though, Gymkhana Seven, kind of goes back in time.
Rather than the cutting-edge rally racers of past videos, Block will pilot a heavily modified 1965 Ford Mustang, called the Hoonicorn. How heavily modified is it? Well, Block's Hooligan Racing Division, ASD Motorsports and Vaughn Gittin Jr.'s RTR, spent two years working on it, ditching the standard engine and rear-wheel-drive layout and replacing it with a 410-cubic-inch Roush Yates V8. Yes, that's a NASCAR engine, and it produces 845 horsepower.
A NASCAR-powered Mustang would be news in itself, but it's the other powertrain changes made by Block and Co. that really makes headlines. Power is channeled through a one-off Sadev transmission and all-wheel-drive system, meaning that Block has basically married a NASCAR stock car with a WRC racer. ASD also developed the customized suspension, tubular chassis and roll cage. The wide Mustang body is the work of RTR and Block's own Hoonigan Racing Division, while the 18-inch fifteen52 wheels are shod in Pirelli Trofeo R tires that use a specialized compound exclusive to Block.

2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid

No Prius Killer
As much as we enthusiasts like to rail on the lowly Toyota Prius as the harbinger of death for all we hold dear, there's no denying the machine's absolute and interminable grip on the hybrid hatchback market in the United States. Toyota has so thoroughly sunk its teeth into the segment that you can clearly hear the automaker's incisors clacking against one another with the conclusion of each financial quarter. And there's little wonder why. Buyers can plop down less than $25,000 and have a runabout that can return up to an estimated 51 miles per gallon in the city, leaving every other entry on the market with precious little gristle to gnaw on.
Enter the 2013 Ford C-Max Hybrid. With its claimed 47 mpg combined, the funky little hatch from Europe already falls behind the 48 mpg city offered by the Prius, but that marginal sacrifice in fuel economy could be a small price to pay for buyers who want a credible alternative to the stalwart Toyota. Unfortunately, like the Fusion Hybrid, the C-Max Hybrid had trouble even approaching its Environmental Protection Agency estimates during our time with the car.
