This truck has had the following repair work done: upper & lower ball joints & accelerator pedal at 165,750 mi.; camshaft position sensor & center support bearing at 193,614 mi.; transmission overhauled 70,000 miles ago (191,192 mi.); lift pump at 260,200 mi.; 2 new batteries at 260,185 mi.; thermostat & water pump at 257,935 mi.; power steering pump, drive belt, idler pulleys & belt tensioner at 193,532 mi.; new steering shaft, tires & front brakes at 260,172 mi. and all the regular maintenance was done on a regular basis. This truck spent the majority of it's life in Texas until I bought it and brought it to SD. It has been well-taken care of, always shedded and is in excellent running condition! 2015 Ford F-150 claims segment's best payload, towing ratings
Mon, 29 Sep 2014While we are set to drive the new, 2015 Ford F-150 in the coming days, there's a big piece of news on the latest-generation of the Blue Oval's bread-and-butter pickup coming out of Dearborn, and it focuses on the truck's hauling and towing abilities.
The new F-150 will have a maximum payload of 3,300-pounds (V8 models), and, perhaps more importantly, a 12,200-pound tow rating (EcoBoost V6 models), which for the first time are compliant with the Society of Automotive Engineer's J2807 standards. Those best-in-class figures are significant feathers in Ford's cap as the Detroit Three continue duking it out for the title of top pickup.
"As founding members of the SAE trailer towing committee, we will meet SAE trailer towing standards," Ford's Aaron Miller told Autoblog.
Project Ugly Horse alive and kicking at Road & Track

Project Ugly Horse is still coming along, and Zach has gifted us another update on his unfoxy Fox Body.
