You will find a complete and detailed description of the F250 in the following blocks. I will do my best to describe everything in detail, but if there is ANYTHING that you would like a deeper description of…please call prior to bidding.

Engine:
The engine starts and runs like new. No smoke at startup, or any hesitation throughout acceleration. The turbo spools up properly and provides boost as it should. It does not burn oil or leak any fluids. I found zero issues with the engine and power levels. No warning lights.

-New Power Steering Pump
-New Fuel Filters
-EGR Repair
-2 New Injectors
-New Oil Cooler

Transmission:
The Automatic Transmission allows easy movement through each gear and the gear selector guides all seem to be in great working order. No grinding or resistance. No noises or issues found here either.

Power Options and Accessories:
-Equipped with Power Windows/Locks/Mirrors. All work properly, all work quickly and properly.
-Heated Side Mirrors and Defrost work as they should.
-The CD Changer works and allows for loading and ejecting as new.

Tires:
The front tires match each other. They are Firestone Destination All Terrains LT285-70-R17 with approx. 35% Tread Life Remaining.

The rear tires match each other. They are Firestone Destination All Terrains LT285-70-R17 with approx. 15% Tread Life Remaining.

Exterior:
The paint on the exterior is overall in great condition. Glossy and shiny everywhere with no clear coat pealing or discoloration. The is not one sign of rust anywhere that I could find. There are only very minor scratches that were very difficult to notice. The imperfections that I was able to notice easily were as follows:
1) on the tailgate there are about 7 – 1 Inch Scratches.
2) The Rear Bumper has multiple dings and scratches, nothing to significant but easily seen from 10 feet away – see photos for details
3) the left bedside has a 2 inch noticeable scratch above the wheel.
4) The tinted rain guard on the driver’s door is starting to separate along the adhesive.

Interior:
The interior is great condition and in my opinion looks very nice. The dash has no cracks or discoloration at all. The seats have only minor wear. The door panels look exceptional.

If you have ANY questions….call prior to bidding. Once you bid I do not reverse or cancel your bid. I ask that all bidders be serious about the purchase. 2014 Ford Fiesta ST

Tue, 15 Oct 2013

I'm not overly inclined to professional jealousy, as a rule. Sure, I go a bit green around the eyes when Ramsey draws the 911 GT3 trip to Weissach, Harley is tapped-in to drive a completely stunning Porsche 911 by Singer, or, you know, Drew Phillips gets to shoot a Lamborghini Veneno in the middle of a desert like some sort of sheik. I hate you guys...
Honestly though, one of the new car events that dug me the most, was when our Steven J. Ewing got to fling the Ford Fiesta ST around some hot corner of Europe. What goes around comes around, I suppose, as Mr. Ewing himself espoused an envious nature of the Focus ST trip that came before.
The good news in all this covetous intra-office behavior? All the cars mentioned, and specifically the Fiesta ST, are just wonderful to drive. I can say that with more confidence than ever now, having joined Ford for a good bit of Fiesta-flinging myself. In my case, the locale was slightly more pedestrian (Michigan not Portugal), and the car in question was the five-door version of the Fiesta ST that we get here in The States, as opposed to the three-door number they get across the pond.

'Born of a Blue Sky' brings the Amelia Island Concours to you

Fri, 03 May 2013

The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has more clout every year and is getting a reputation as Pebble Beach minus the madness. Held in March this year, it celebrated Ducati and the 50-year anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Corvette Sting Ray, Porsche 911 and the Ford GT40.
Justin Lapriore was there, and seemingly everywhere, getting footage of the various wares on display on the lawns and the sand and the runway. The resulting video, Born of a Blue Sky, is a 16-minute survey of some of the finer sights and plenty of engine sounds. Check it out below.

2015 Ford Transit

Wed, 11 Jun 2014

As a segment, fullsize vans are stealth-fighter invisible on most consumers' radar. Visit a dealership for any of the four brands that offer them and you'll be lucky to find even one on display. These are commercial vehicles primarily, even more so than pickup trucks. Vans are the shuttles for plumbers, caterers, carpenters, concrete layers, masons, electricians, florists and flooring, and a huge part of this country's productivity is accomplished using them. At the moment, Ford is the 800-pound gorilla in that room - fully 41 percent of commercial vehicles wear a Blue Oval. So when Ford announced three years ago it would be ditching its commercial bread-and-butter E-Series, it meant the Transit that would be replacing the Econoline had huge, 53-year-old shoes to fill.
We were still a bit nostalgic about Econoline vans going away until going directly from the Transit first drive in Kansas City to an E-350 airport shuttle. Climb up through the Econoline's tiny double doors and bang your head on the opening, crouch all the way to your seat then enjoy a loud, rattle-prone, creaky, harsh ride on beam-hard seats while struggling to see out the low windows. This is an experience nearly every traveler has had. By comparison, the Transits we'd just spent two days with were every bit of the four decades better they needed to be. It cannot be understated just how much better the Transit is in every single way. The load floor is barely more than knee high. There's a huge side door, and hitting your head on a door opening is nearly impossible. Stand up all the way if you're under six-foot, six-inches - no more half-hunching down the aisle. There are windows actually designed to be looked out of. The ride is buttery smooth, no booming vibration from un-restrained metal panels and no squeaks. Conversations can be held at normal levels rather than yelling over the roar of an ancient V8. The seats are comfortable. The AC is cold. There are cupholders.
Enough anecdote-laying, what's in a Transit? We're talking about a very fullsized unibody van that's enjoyed a 49-year history in Ye Olde Europe. This latest iteration is part of the "One Ford" initiative, so it was designed as a global offering from the get-go, eschewing the body-on-frame construction the E-Series has used since 1975. Instead, the Transit integrates a rigid ladder frame into an overall frame construction made of high-strength cold-rolled and boron steel. The suspension is a simple but well-tuned Macpherson strut array up front with a rear solid axle and leaf springs.
