2004 Ford F-350 Lariat 6.0 L Diesel Dually Good Conditon Low Mileage on 2040-cars
Brighton, Tennessee, United States
This truck has been bullet proofed. Any potential problems with the 6.0 liter Diesel have been taken care of such as the EGR cooler has been deleted, the head gasket studs and gaskets have been replaced. When truck is purchased the buyer will be responsible for pick up of vehicle. Payment must be in cash or bank money order made out payable to seller. Original owner did not use truck as a daily driver when I purchased truck from her it had almost 29,000 miles on it. Currently driven daily by my wife who works less than a 20 mile round trip from our home. I have a brand new Edge Evolution programmer that will go with this truck. Programmer has never been installed but the exhaust sensor for the programmer has been put in truck and is ready for hook up. Truck has not been used to pull any type of heavy loads. Truck only has one small dent in top of bed on passenger side of truck which is not visible in the pictures. Have two daughters who will be entering college next fall and need to sell to purchase them new vehicles. This truck will NOT disappoint any potential buyers upon seeing and driving this truck. The Tipton county registers office did make a mistake upon entering mileage of truck when I registered it upon purchase. This error has been corrected through their office and the State of Tennessee. When I originally posted the vehicle the car fax report showed it had 288,882 miles on it when it only had 28,882 miles on the truck. A potential buyer thankfully brought this to my attention and it has been corrected. Obviously this was a HUGE mistake on their part. If any buyer has any questions concerning this matter they are welcome to contact our county's vehicle registration office, who's contact information I can provide upon request if needed. The truck has been well taken care of and the mileage on the vehicle is accurate.

180,000 new vehicles are sitting, derailed by lack of transport trains
Wed, 21 May 2014If you're planning on buying a new car in the next month or so, you might want to pick from what's on the lot, because there could be a long wait for new vehicles from the factory. Locomotives continue to be in short supply in North America, and that's causing major delays for automakers trying to move assembled cars.
According to The Detroit News, there are about 180,000 new vehicles waiting to be transported by rail in North America at the moment. In a normal year, it would be about 69,000. The complications have been industry-wide. Toyota, General Motors, Honda and Ford all reported experiencing some delays, and Chrysler recently had hundreds of minivans sitting on the Detroit waterfront waiting to be shipped out.
The problem is twofold for automakers. First, the fracking boom in the Bakken oil field in the Plains and Canada is monopolizing many locomotives. Second, the long, harsh winter is still causing major delays in freight train travel. The bad weather forced trains to slow down and carry less weight, which caused a backup of goods to transport. The auto companies resorted to moving some vehicles by truck, which was a less efficient but necessary option.
How Ford hid the 2015 Mustang from spy photographers
Fri, 20 Dec 2013Now that we've finally seen the 2015 Ford Mustang, it's fun to go back and look at the spy shots we spent months pouring over, trying to dissect what was under all the camouflage. For the most part, Ford did a good job of concealing the car from spy photographers, and it released a video showing how much work went into doing so.
As crude as the Mustang's camo looked, all of the hard plastic, foam, vinyl and ratchet straps were actually created and put in place by a specific design team. The whole idea was to hide the car's identity, but it certainly ended up acting as a magnet for attention, too. According to Ford's press release, it took less than an hour for spy shots to appear online after the car was taken on public roads for the very first time - this is likely in reference to our first official spy shots of the Mustang from June, shown in the gallery below.
Scroll down for a press release and video, which shows footage of the 2015 Ford Mustang testing with minimal camouflage. This is probably the same track session where we got our first look at the Mustang's face back in August.
Ford Shelby GT350 Mustang is a track-day weapon with 500 hp
Mon, 17 Nov 2014
Ford promises more than 500 horsepower and a torque peak above 400 lb-ft.
The wait is finally over. After months of spy shots, rumor and innuendo, Ford has officially pulled the wraps off its new Shelby GT350. Judging by the spec sheet and the promises being made - especially that the Shelby GT350 will be "an all-day track car that's also street legal" - the wait appears to have been worth it.
