I will start off by saying this is my personal vehicle and the title is in MY name. I will be honest about everything and feel free to ask me anything! I have encountered a lot of dishonesty and I certainly want you to know what you are buying. This truck overall is in good condition. The paint shines like new. There isn't any chipping, fading or missing clear coat. There is one ding/dent as you could see in one of the pictures. The following have been recently replaced:Upper and lower ball joints, outer tie rod ends, pivot arm bushings, radius arm bushings, all four shocks, bearings, axle seals, pads, shoes, rotors, caliper/brackets, Front rubber brake lines, wheel cylinders, drums, 4 brand new tires in back, alignment, a couple of the leaf spring bushings, air filter, fuel filter, windshield wipers, thermostat and hoses, oil and filter. When I replaced all of these parts I specifically asked for the good parts and not the cheap stuff. Included with the sale will be an entire folder full of receipts. This truck has the Original Alcoa aluminum rims. The front tires are Firestone LT215/85/R15 and have about 7/32nds left. The rear are BRAND NEW Toyo H/T Open Country LT215/85/R16. This truck drives great! On the bottom of this description is two videos. One of them is the infamous blow-by test another is highway driving. These videos were from 3/26/13. This truck is from Tennessee, THE ONLY spot of rust on this truck is in the drivers side back door jam near the striker. Very weird that it rusted there. Seems that it is just surface rust anyway. The underneath and the bottom of the doors are SPOTLESS. Every time I drive this truck in salt I rinse it off in the garage that same night including the undercarriage. If you buy it you will see it is garage kept and I have a floor drain and hose in my garage. The only bad things I could tell you about this truck is the dash pad is cracked. However, this pad piece is EASY to replace. It is not the main dash piece. Any F series truck these years including broncos have this same piece. I have seen the piece on ebay for $40. Maybe a half hour job. Also, there is a noise that seems to be coming from the steering column sometimes when turning or hitting a bump while turning. I'm guessing it is the steering column, everything else is new. I have been told that I am very picky about my cars so this noise might not even bother you? I just want to tell you everything I know. I also just put a brand new Curt tow package on. All of the electric for the 7pin trailer hook up works and it comes with a drawtite electric brake module. The rear bumper and tailgate isn't in the best shape. The tailgate opens and closes very easily. The air conditioning blows ice cold and the heat works excellent. The transmission must have been rebuilt before I purchased this truck because it shifts GREAT. I have older rubber floor mats for the front and brand new weather tech rubber mats for the rear. It does come with a spare tire. The interior is clean, I have it shampooed regularly and I don't smoke. There is no weird smells or anything. The headliner in back is sagging a little. Not really noticeable but its one of the things I look at when I buy a car. This truck doesn't leak anything! It will only smoke blue when it is cold on the first start up. On the coldest day this year when the truck was parked outside at my work it has started without being plugged in. You will NOT be disappointed in this vehicle. Bid with confidence.

What next for Alan Mulally?
Wed, 23 Apr 2014Alan Mulally has emerged as a hero when it comes to American manufacturing. He came to Ford in 2006 after serving as head of Boeing's commercial aircraft division, streamlined operations, sold off the costly elements of its Premier Automotive Group and saved Ford from having to be bailed out by the federal government like its cross-town rivals Chrysler and General Motors did. But as we reported mere days ago, he's widely expected to step down from the chief executive's office at Ford shortly.
So what's next for one of the most successful executives in the business? Hard to say, but don't expect Mulally to disappear into retirement. Though he didn't ultimately take the top job at Microsoft, industry insiders expect to see him in another influential position - likely as a board director or even chairman of another company. (We say "another company" and not Ford because while Bill Ford may have stepped aside as CEO to bring Mulally on board in the first place, we don't see him giving up his chairmanship of the board also.)
Mulally has likely already lined up his next move, and could either announce what that move will be as soon as Ford confirms Mark Fields as his successor, or could wait awhile. Insiders speculate that he could leverage his transportation and aerospace experience into a position at General Electric or a major airline, his manufacturing expertise to benefit a company like Procter & Gamble or his management skills at a consultancy firm.
Next Ford Raptor spotted wearing aluminum skin
Wed, 07 May 2014Well, look at what we have here. Judging from these spy shots, Ford is indeed working on the next generation of its off-road-ready F-150 Raptor pickup truck. We've made no attempt to hide our appreciation for the Baja-style truck, which combines most of the usability of a fullsize truck with heavy-duty suspension components to make a kind of performance vehicle that is unique in the market.
What we haven't known, until now, is whether Ford would push forward with its Raptor program now that it has a completely new F-150 to serve as its base. And that's especially true since Ford made the bold move of switching the bodywork of its best-seller from tried-and-true steel to aluminum. As you can see above, the front and rear of this silver truck are clad in current-gen Raptor bodywork, while the center section that houses the occupants appears to come from the upcoming 2015 F-150.
Dissecting the views above, we note a few interesting tidbits. First, there looks to be a bulge in the truck's hood. Second, we see a new grille between the current Raptor's headlights, sporting a mesh finish and two horizontal bars. Lastly, our eyes can't help but lock in on those burly A-arm suspension pieces down below, not to mention all that ground clearance the specialty suspenders bring to the table.
White House clears way for NHTSA to mandate vehicle black boxes
Fri, 07 Dec 2012At present, over 90 percent of all new vehicles sold in the United States today are equipped with event data recorders, more commonly known as black boxes. If the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration gets its way, that already high figure will swell to a full 100 percent in short order.
Such automotive black boxes have been in existence since the 1990s, and all current Ford, General Motors, Mazda and Toyota vehicles are so equipped. NHTSA has been attempting to make these data recorders mandatory for automakers, and according to The Detroit News, the White House Office of Management Budget has just finished reviewing the proposal, clearing the way. Now NHTSA is expected to draft new legislation to make the boxes a requirement.
One problem with current black boxes is that there's no set of standards for automakers to follow when creating what bits of data are recorded, and for how long or in what format it is stored. In other words, one automaker's box is probably not compatible with its competitors.
