Benton, Missouri, United States

You are bidding on a one of a kind low, actual, original mile, 2004 F350 crew cab 4x4 long bed 6.0L diesel. I bought this truck brand new from my local Ford dealer in Cape Girardeau, MO.
She has been babied and in our family for a long time. I think it's time for someone else to enjoy her since I am going to get something smaller since it is just me and my daughter.
When I bought the truck I thought it was kinda odd because I had only seen white Super Duty King Ranch models. The reason it has such low miles is because when I bought it I had 3 other trucks and thought I would never be able to afford another King Ranch so I babied it. It has been stored in a climate controlled garage. It has seen rain only one time because my daughter wanted me to drive her to school in it for her first day of kindergarten. (It was sprinkling that day and I almost said no). The only reason I am selling this truck is I am going into a business to where I will need an everyday driving truck and I cant do that to this one.

I believe this is one of the nicest 2004 King Ranch pickups in the country! Still smells new!

You can buy this truck for half of the MSRP of a new one and this truck is almost new.
It has the following:

21 piece wood dash kit
Power moonroof
6 disc cd changer
Power sliding rear window
Spray in Bedliner
Chrome bed rails
Mud flaps
Trailer towing package(it has never pulled anything)
Keyless entry pad and keychains Chrome brush guard

Now since I am honest and blunt, it has a tiny scratch which is shown in the pictures, took a bunch of tries to get it to show up.
The drivers mirror had a couple little cracks in the lense for the blinker.

And the plastic on the rear bumper has a mark on it. I have enclosed pics of all this.

How Ford made its 2015 Ford Mustang safer for toupee wearers [w/video]

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

Ford is ready to tell the story of its 2015 Mustang Convertible, the can't-miss bits being the easier, quicker and quieter roof operation, a more robust roof build for a coupe-like cabin noise, more trunk space, better visibility and reduced in-cabin buffeting. The top release system has been completely redesigned with a single, center-mounted latch on the windshield frame instead of the dual latches of before. The driver can now release the roof without having to lean over into the passenger space, after which the top goes down fully automatically with the press of a button. Ford doesn't say how long it takes to stow, but it's apparently done in half as much time as before, so figure around 8 seconds.
The roof uses a five-bow structure, with the fabric outer and full inner headliner sandwiching ten millimeters of insulation. Detailing work on the top has eliminated "unsightly folds" in the corners when the roof is up and made it more compact when down; its Z-fold assembly is 6.7 inches lower than before at its highest point when put down. Ford says the new electric drive internals make less noise when in operation, and the fully-finished droptop look is achieved with snap-in caps that flank the rear seating and stow in the trunk when not in use (the outgoing Mustang's top was higher and the front when folded and always looked like it was catching air and creating drag).
The compact roof and newly independent rear suspension setup in back means liberated trunk space, 11.4 cubic feet ready to swallow golf bags and tourist swag. You can read a lot more about it in the press release below, check it out in the short video of running footage and learn about the aerodynamic improvements made to the entire Mustang lineup that decrease drag and increase fuel economy.

Ford pits The Stig against Gran Turismo 6 in Focus ST Goodwood run

Thu, 03 Jul 2014

The Goodwood Festival of Speed is one of the world great automotive gatherings. So, it was the perfect event for Ford to give the refreshed 2015 Focus ST its world debut in front of a loving public. It even surprised us with a new diesel-powered version, as well.
The Blue Oval really put its focus on making the ST a better driver for this refresh. It left its 2.0-liter turbocharged four-cylinder alone to still pump out a respectable 252 horsepower and 270 pound-feet of torque. The changes like a retuned front suspension, electric power steering and improved interior made the hot hatch an even better place to spend time behind the wheel.
To prove that the Focus ST is still as potent as ever, Ford set up a one-on-one race up the Goodwood Hill. But instead of putting the two cars side-by-side, former Stig from Top Gear UK, Ben Collins, piloted the real model up the course, and his rival drove the virtual version in Gran Turismo 6. The two hot hatches set off at the same time to see whether reality could beat the virtual world, and the finish was actually extremely close. Scroll down to watch the video and find out the winner of this battle at Goodwood.

Ford, Samsung shack up to bring regen braking to non-hybrid models [w/video]

Mon, 09 Jun 2014

Ford must be desperate to get itself ready for the beach this summer because it is really trying to get into shape. Shortly after unveiling the Lightweight Concept that cut the weight of a Fusion down to that of a Fiesta, it's now the rest of the line's turn for improvement. The company is wrapping up a 10-year research project aimed at developing next-gen automotive batteries to improve efficiency.
Ford claims that 70 percent of its lineup will have stop/start tech by 2017. The key to this massive proliferation is its new dual-battery system that combines a lithium-ion battery with a lead-acid one and regenerative braking. The setup works by harvesting braking energy and converting it to electricity. When the vehicle stops, the engine shuts off, but the Li-ion battery has enough juice to keep the accessories running. The engine starts up again as drivers take their foot off the brake. The layout would mean less wasted gas while idling. It's already available on Ford hybrids and is somewhat similar to the i-Eloop capacitor-based system from Mazda.
The bigger challenge is tuning the regenerative braking right. While hybrid drivers may be a little more adventurous, when it comes to getting a hang of regen braking, conventional buyers might not be so open-minded. The systems have a tendency to be a little grabby at first and then taper off at very low speeds. Ford needs to make sure it's just right to avoid turning off buyers.
