Hello up for sale is a super awesome Ford F-450 diesel with the new and impressive 6.7L Powerstroke diesel engine. We are the original owners of this rig and it has been awesome. It was used to tow some snow cats weighing under 10,000 pounds back and forth to Reno, NV. Most miles are highway back and forth to there. This truck has been very reliable, our CPA just says that we need to sell it and get another one before taxes are due. The truck has the expensive Lariat package with heated and air conditioned seats, leather, navigation and satellite radio systems, back up camera, towing package with gooseneck and bumper hitches and many more exciting features. Ford tops mid-year ranking of brands in the US
Thu, 18 Jul 2013YouGov's mid-year Brand Index rankings of America's best perceived brands has been released, and Ford has found its way to the top. The Dearborn, Michigan based manufacturer beat out online shopping giant Amazon, The History Channel, and home improvement superstore Lowe's, to take the top spot.
Ford jumped from sixth overall in 2012 to first for 2013, but those that have been watching these rankings shouldn't be hugely surprised. Ford was rated the best perceived automotive manufacturer by the same organization last year. The Blue Oval's success on the overall brand rankings is made all the more impressive by the complete lack of other automakers on the list.
YouGov (that is, survey respondents) cited Ford's first quarter of 2013 business, which saw an increase in market share and the best earnings recorded in over 10 years. Successfully launching the Focus and Fusion (pictured) and keeping them fresh in the minds of consumers has also contributed to Ford's best overall score.
Chrysler called out over lackluster Ram Runner by racer who helped develop it
Fri, 11 Apr 2014Fans of off-roading and desert blasting might recall that Chrysler offers an aftermarket conversion that can turn a Ram 1500 into a road-legal desert racer, called the Ram Runner. The kit, sold through Mopar, includes some significant suspension upgrades, body tweaks and a brawnier cat-back exhaust for the truck's 5.7-liter V8.
Considering all of this, comparisons with the almighty Ford F-150 SVT Raptor are common. Among the off-road community, that makes these two a sort of Chevrolet Camaro and Ford Mustang for people that prefer driving on dirt. In the Race-Dezert forum, the discussion as to which truck was better was proceeding as normal - Ram fans said their piece and Ford fans said theirs. Then, a man named Kent Kroeker offered up his two cents.
See, Kroeker is a Baja racer, and the man that helped develop the Ram Runner. Despite his association with the truck, though, he had some less than kind words for Chrysler and the Ram Runner.
