1967 Ford Fairlane. Motor and transmission have only 2000 miles on them. Motor is a fully forged with Scat internals 347 roller motor with AFR 185 heads, Parker intake, Sean Murphy modified Holley 750, hooker long tube headers, MSD pro billet ignition, Edelbrock water pump. Transmission is a 4R70W electronic controlled overdrive with a Compushift computer system and 3500 stall converter. Rear end is a 9" with 3.89 gears. Interior has factory buckets with brand new factory GT upholstery new foam, flaming river tilt column, 3 point seat belts, Lokar shifter mounted on factory 4-speed floor hump. Suspension has been rebuilt with new upper and lower control arms, shocks, full length custom subframe connectors, front disk brake conversion and new master cylinder. Has brand new fuel tank, aluminum radiator, Be cool electric fan and much much more! Has original red primer underneath and has ALWAYS been a Texas car. I have the original owners manual in the plastic as well as the roadside card and original keys. Was sold brand new in Arlington TX. There is some minor rust starting on the lower driver quarter and hail damage on roof and quarters. This is a very solid car that runs and drives great! Very streetable and very dependable! Take anywhere! Car was built to be a cruiser that you can take to the track as well. Never runs hot, will idle all day long in 100 degree weather. Have extra trim and parts that go with the car. Ford Mustang GT Bi-Fuel CNG
Tue, 23 Jul 2013Highly intrigued, we recently visited a Southern California Gas Company office to check out several hybrid vehicles promising something new. Unlike more commonplace gasoline-electric hybrids, we were there to evaluate innovative gasoline-compressed natural gas (CNG) hybrids - yes, they run on unleaded gasoline and compressed natural gas. According to the experts on hand, this arrangement delivers extended range and reduced emissions while chipping in with lower operating costs than pure-gasoline vehicles. There are advantages over its gasoline-electric counterparts, as well.
The program is part of a three-way collaboration between The Carlab, a Southern California-based automotive consulting firm, Landi Renzo USA, a company specializing in alternative fuel solutions, and America's Natural Gas Alliance, a group that promotes CNG. Long story short, the team has engineered a way to allow a modified internal combustion vehicle to seamlessly switch between two fuels (gasoline and CNG) with no driver intervention. In theory, and if it works as well as promised, it's a win-win for the vehicle owner and the environment.
Parked at the Gas Company office were six different gasoline-CNG hybrid vehicles. To demonstrate the technology's versatility (just about any gasoline vehicle may be modified) Carlab brought a varied assortment of bodystyles, each from a different automaker. After taking a quick glance at the half-dozen in the parking lot, we made a beeline for the performance-oriented Ford Mustang GT - a 2012 model - with the six-speed manual gearbox.

Let's be clear from the get go here: there are any number of reasonable arguments for staying away from the highest-content versions of these small cars. Ford's player in the B-segment arena is the newly updated 2014 Fiesta, and the Titanium trim represents the most luxurious instantiation of the model. We recently were loaned a Fiesta Titanium for a week, whose final sticker price hit $20,390, with navigation being the only standalone option added to the bottom line. By way of comparison, the most basic version of the all new, one-segment-up Mazda3 hatchback costs $19,740 with delivery and destination accounted for, and no options added on.

'Born of a Blue Sky' brings the Amelia Island Concours to you
Fri, 03 May 2013The Amelia Island Concours d'Elegance has more clout every year and is getting a reputation as Pebble Beach minus the madness. Held in March this year, it celebrated Ducati and the 50-year anniversaries of Lamborghini, the Corvette Sting Ray, Porsche 911 and the Ford GT40.
Justin Lapriore was there, and seemingly everywhere, getting footage of the various wares on display on the lawns and the sand and the runway. The resulting video, Born of a Blue Sky, is a 16-minute survey of some of the finer sights and plenty of engine sounds. Check it out below.
