Hello, Here I have a great start for a father and son fixer, or someone that just likes fast toys. This car has a Ford 302 Mildly Cammed motor, with a 5 speed transmission that goes in gear like butter, the motor runs very good and very fast, it has Flo Masters Exhaust out the sides the rear end is a 8 incher. HAs Bucket Seats installed. This car still needs lots of things like new interior to be done and mild body work as can be seen in the pictures, all the chrome is off and ready for that, and chrome is in the car. The 5 speed shifter is custom made it is tall and Tee Handled and made out of Billot Aluminum, This car runs good but there are things that still need to be done like the radiator thats in it works fine for short trips, but really need to be a little larger because it was used with the original 6 cylinder motor, and now theres a 8 cylinder and cammed, the brakes work good but pull to the left a bit, so they will need to be checked. Ford opens 88 new dealerships in China in a single day

None of those statements - even the last one - would seem unbelievable. Saying "Ford opened up 88 dealerships in China last Thursday," though, is a bit more dramatic.
Yes, on June 19 alone, Ford opened the doors on nearly 100 showrooms in the People's Republic, boosting the Blue Oval's total presence in the country to 750 dealerships. Of course, while an overabundance of dealers in the US proved troublesome for American manufacturers back in 2008 and 2009, there's no such concern in China. Considering the country's huge population and the breakneck pace of the local auto industry, you could be forgiven for being surprised Ford only has 750 outlets at this stage.
What's notable about this most recent push, besides the sheer volume of new stores, is their location. Over three-quarters of the new dealerships are in so-called Tier 4 cities, which are smaller towns that still contain millions of people. This fits with Ford's strategy in China of avoiding the bigger battlegrounds that are already dominated by competitors and focusing on setting up shop in newer markets that may have been overlooked, according to Automotive News.
Ford dinged by OSHA for asbestos at Buffalo plant
Sat, 20 Jul 2013Ford has come under fire from the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) for violations regarding asbestos exposure in a company metal stamping plant in Buffalo, NY. OSHA has cited Ford for eight violations in total, according to an Automotive News report, and faces fines of up to $41,800. 537 workers are employed at the stamping facility.
The violations include a pipefitter at the facility being exposed to asbestos-containing material while working on a steam line, other workers exposed to the material without respiratory protection and work areas that were not designed to limited the number of workers in contact with asbestos. Further, areas in which asbestos was present were not properly restricted, and levels of asbestos in the air were not monitored.
According to an unnamed Ford spokesperson in the AN report, the company feels that the OSHA citation is erroneous saying, "We have fully cooperated with the local OSHA officials and we don't believe the citations are warranted." Ford also maintains that it will work with the authorities to resolve the issue.
2015 Ford Mustang already under recall, but just 53 units
Sun, 19 Oct 2014Ford has issued a small - but significant - recall for one of its spotlight cars: the 2015 Mustang.
The recall affects just 53 cars, with 50 in the United States and three in Canada. Ford said the passenger side safety belt buckle tension sensor may not have been calibrated properly by the supplier. This could lead to "misclassification" of the passenger seat occupant, and could cause the airbag to deploy improperly.
A Ford spokesperson didn't immediately respond to a request for comment. In a statement, the automaker said it is not aware of any accidents or injuries, and dealers will replace the buckle assembly at no cost to customers. The cars affected were built at Flat Rock Assembly Plant in Michigan from Aug. 18 to Oct. 2.
