1964 Falcon in good shape. It has a chip in the windshield, has some back yard patch panels in the front floor in a couple of spots, has one rust spot on the right door,I have the 260 engine that came in it and it was a running engine before the previous owner removed it . It was an automatic from Ford. It now has a clutch pedal that came out of another 64 Falcon and still has automatic brake pedal in the trunk.The front seat needs to be recovered.I was going to straight axle this car for a old gasser look but have to many projects, so my loss is your gain.This is a solid car and would make someone a good project. The tires and rims that you see in the picture does not go with the car I will put a set of steel rims on it for the new owner to haul it with. This car does not run and will need to be trailered or towed. I reserve the right to end the auction early because the car is for sale locally. I urge bidders to look at the car in person. And the car does not leave until your funds have cleared the bank but cash in hand works good. The car will need to be paid for within 10 days. The buyer is responsible for shipping. This unique '64 Mustang was Edsel Ford II's first car

Henry Ford's great grandson turned 16 on December 27, 1964 - two days after Christmas and eight months after the original Mustang went on sale. And that's just what was waiting for him in the driveway, courtesy of his father (and reigning chief executive) Henry Ford II.
The specially-prepared pony car had a pearlescent cream paintjob with narrow blue racing stripes, functional hood scoop, chrome trim, Euro-spec fender-mounted mirrors, a blue leather and aluminum interior, a monogrammed fuel cap... and a 289-cubic-inch V8 under the hood.

Spy shooter claims proof of upcoming aluminum Ford F-Series Super Duty
Thu, 26 Jun 2014Ford has already confirmed that the 2015 F-150 (pictured above) was just the beginning for its more extensive use of aluminum. CEO Alan Mulally said it himself during the 2014 Detroit Auto Show. We've even already seen the future Raptor testing with an aluminum body. But a recent discovery from an intrepid spy photographer might indicate that the lightweight metal is coming to the Blue Oval's Super Duty pickups in their upcoming generation, as well.
According to Automotive News, a spy shooter in Colorado spotted a prototype for the next-gen F-350 testing. He happened to have a magnet on hand and got close enough to check the truck out. When he held it up to the metal in the bed, it didn't stick, which signaled to him a switch from steel to aluminum.
Obviously, this claim raises some questions. Given that it was a test vehicle, one possibility is that the Blue Oval is just evaluating the feasibility of switching to aluminum for the Super Duty trucks, not necessarily committed to it yet. Ford has been testing it quite exhaustively, after all. In fact, much of the rest of the truck in question was covered in camouflage, so it's possible that the magnet failed to work along the rest of the body not because it was aluminum, but because it wasn't powerful enough to get through the disguising material. Thus, the lightweight metal's use could be far less substantial than on the new F-150. Still, it was a clever idea for the cameraman to check things out and might have given us the first hint about brand's next heavy-duty models.
