Hard to find- 5 Speed Focus Wagon Yes- the starting bid seems high, but there is ***NO RESERVE***. No nonsense... Selling because we bought a 5 speed Explorer and don't need an extra car sitting around depreciating... SPECS: 2001 Focus Wagon SE NEWER PARTS (I can get you mileage info if needed ): Fuel Pump, Fuel Filter, Radiator, Shocks & Struts, Front: {Brakes-Springs-Stabilizer Bar Links-Tie Rods}, Timing Belt, Water Pump, Idler Pulleys, Alternator, Brighter Headlight Bulbs, Serpentine Belt, Coolant, Tires, EGR & EGR sensor... A Bug Shield was installed. We also added a Trailer Hitch and Wiring so that we could tow a light duty trailer (it did great). The Hitch comes with a 2" ball on a riser style receiver. If you are in the market for a car that is fun to drive while tranporting your family, toting your gear, etc., and you don't want a mini-van; then this car might be what you're looking for! :) Better MPG than SUV's... TITLE is in hand & clear to my knowledge- We've owned this wagon since April of 2008 when we bought it with 67K. Listing shows 108,500 miles- it is still a daily driver so exact miles may differ. We took the pictures about a month ago when the car had 108,120 miles. Car sells with 2 Key Fobs & 2 ignition keys. It will also come with 1 key that only opens the doors. CAR IS FOR SALE LOCALLY. Mustang driver proves wheels are overrated
Mon, 21 Apr 2014We don't need to tell you that there's something missing in the image above. What we do need to tell you is that this is not a picture of a parked car stranded on the highway. This is, rather, just one frame from video of that three-wheeled Mustang traveling down the highway at highway-appropriate speed.
We don't know where you'd have to be nor how badly you'd have to be there to go shooting down the freeway in a car with three wheels, but if the New Daily News is correct, that place is somewhere in Texas. The video's short, but you'll have plenty of time to shake your head at it by just scrolling down.
2015 Ford Mustang to offer solid-rear axle, sort of
Tue, 17 Dec 2013One of the biggest knocks against the last Ford Mustang was its solid-rear axle. Not one to actively court criticism, Ford dutifully swapped out the old-fashioned rear end for something a bit more modern in the redesigned 2015 Mustang, adding an independent rear suspension across the board.
While an IRS Mustang is great news for those that value handling and ride comfort, there's one big group that it's bad news for - drag racers. See, a solid-rear axle is a big deal for drag racers, because not only is it more durable and cheaper, but it's better for the hard launches that can make or break a race.
To satiate this vocal demographic, Ford will sell a body-in-white version of the Stang, complete with a nine-inch rear axle, that will debut at the 2014 Performance Racing Industry show. The news came from gas2.org, which cited an unnamed employee of Ford Racing at this year's PRI show.
Ford picks Fiesta ST, Transit Connect as this year's SEMA darlings
Sat, 02 Feb 2013SEMA is more than nine months away, but the reveille bugle for the show has just sounded with Ford's call to aftermarket companies for its project-vehicle program. The 2014 Ford Fiesta ST and 2014 Transit Connect van and wagon are the cars The Blue Oval wants to feature, but applicants can submit project vehicles for any product except the GT500, the Raptor, or anything from Lincoln.
Submissions must be completed in two parts, the first being an email to Ford with an overview of the project, like vehicle theme, promotional plan and location display. The second part must be mailed in on company letterhead and gets down to the nuts and bolts of the vision and the provision of company bona fides. The complete proposal is due on March 1, winners will be notified by May 1.
