2006 Ford Freestar Se Four Door Mini Van 3rd Row Seating V6 Well Maintained on 2040-cars
Jackson, Missouri, United States
This is a 2006 Ford Freestar van. It is well optioned and has been serviced regularly throughout its life. It was a fleet vehicle for a local company and we purchased it for a spare vehicle. We now have an extra truck so this one needs to go. We are listing mileage as 333,333 as the odometer quit functioning quite a while back. The last known reading was 148,xxx I think. All power windows work, even the rear quarter glasses for venting. The interior is worn but not wore out. Headlights and turn signals work.. The air was working this summer but was getting weak, I will list air as not functioning, it may just need re-charged. The van will need a windshield. It is cracked badly and should be replaced. Tires are good. Brakes stop the van fine. Drives and steers down the road like it should. The v6 motor starts up easily and runs fine. Shifts out going down the highway, no noticeable issues. We are pricing this to sell as we do not need it and really just do not have a whole lot in it. It would be a good economical first car, a cheap delivery rig or a pretty dependable get in and go car. It is not a show car. It has a few scratches and bumps. The interior needs a good cleaning, I just do not have the time. Low opening bid, no reserve and a very reasonable buy it now price. Thanks. |

Man turns Ford Fiesta into a one-car band
Mon, 18 Nov 2013The one-man band is a rather ridiculous idea, drawing up images of one person attempting to manipulate several instruments, at once, in a vain attempt at creating music. It's usually represented by silly scenes like this. Interestingly, the concept isn't much more successful when the "man" in "one-man band" is replaced with "car," as we see in this video.
It seems that someone rigged up and edited (699 times, we might add) a Ford Fiesta, a bucket, 12 PVC pipes and the natural sounds that a car makes to come up with a song. Now, we don't recognize the tune, so we've no idea if this is a cover or an original piece. And while it's hardly Beethoven, we have to admire the amount of effort the "conductor" went to in his attempt to turn a subcompact car into a musical instrument(s). Take a look (or listen) below for the entire video.
Production Ford Escort heading for Beijing
Wed, 16 Apr 2014Ford's long-dormant Escort nameplate returned affixed to a sedan concept at last year's Shanghai Motor Show. While not exactly a beauty, it showed a clean, straightforward take on Ford's current styling. The Blue Oval said at the time that it wanted to create a model that was stylish "but not one that is arrogant or pretentious." Job done. A year later, it looks like the minimalist vehicle might make its production debut at the Beijing Motor Show.
Autocar claims that the streetgoing version has been confirmed to it for the upcoming show, but so far, Ford isn't saying. If unveiled, the Escort is likely to be produced locally for the Chinese market with a domestic partner. Powertrain details remain a secret, but it seems highly likely that any production model would use a small three- or four-cylinder engine and front-wheel drive. Sales in other major world markets like ours are unlikely, but a test car was recently spotted in Europe.
Autoblog contacted Ford for confirmation, but the automaker demurred, with a spokesperson saying only, "At the moment, we are not confirming any vehicles planned for the show." It looks like we will have to wait to know for sure.
