1965 Ford Galaxie 500 XL 2 dr This is the classic car find you dream of! Has only 24,500 actual miles, * no documentation available though, however, when you see the condition of this car, especially the interior, foot pedals, etc, any car guy would know, its 24,500 actual miles! Exterior is the original Wimbledon white with its first repaint recently and looks fantastic. This entire car is rust free and extremely straight. Undercarriage is also rust free and in excellent shape. Bumpers and all original chrome trim in excellent condition. All original glass and weather stripping is in great condition. Single red accent pinstripe sets off the beautiful red interior. Brand new tires on classic American racing rims, original hubcaps also included. Interior is red, and as included with the XL package, loaded with chrome. All interior is original and in excellent condition, and looks amazing. She has front bucket seats with center console. Original red carpet in great condition. Front and back seats are free of any wear or imperfections. Original headliner is flawless except for a small, dime size hole above the right rear passenger seat. This rare classic is equipped with the big 390 V8 motor that starts right up and runs smooth and strong. She has a 4 barrel Edelbrock carb with dual factory exhaust, and a C-6 cruise o'matic transmission that shifts smoothly and goes right through the gears. Also has power steering, power brakes and the original working radio. Also equipped with factory installed A/C, just needs a new pump. Recent complete tune up, new shocks, and new master cyclinder. 2016 Ford Explorer revealed with new 2.3-liter EcoBoost

A 2.3L EcoBoost four-cylinder takes over where the old 2.0 left off, making 270 hp and 300 lb-ft.
Right now, around 23 percent of all Ford vehicles sold in the United States is a utility vehicle. By 2020, Ford expects that figure to increase all the way to 29 percent. Put simply, SUVs and crossovers are very big business at Ford. So, when it comes time to update the Explorer, Ford's original sport utility vehicle, you can be sure that a whole heck of a lot of effort goes into the process.
Ford forced to recall Escape over fire risk yet again

And that's alright, for the most part, because cars are designed (and to a large degree still made) by humans, and humans make mistakes. So we forgive them, as long as the problem is resolved. Only in the case of the Ford Escape, the problem seems to keep coming back.
That's why Ford is calling in the Escape yet again due to fire concerns. The issue revolves around problematic fuel lines in 9,469 units manufactured between October 5, 2011, and July 11, 2012, all of which use the 1.6-liter EcoBoost inline four-cylinder engine.
As you yourself may recall, the Escape was subject to a string of recalls last year that resulted in a $17 million fine. One of them was over this very same issue, which Ford apparently didn't rectify the first time around. Let's hope this time is the last time.
Ford Escort is ready to focus on the Chinese market
Mon, 21 Apr 2014Ford officially revived the Escort name in China, showing of the new, four-door compact at the Beijing Motor Show. Painted in a stylish brown-bronze, the new sedan wears a number of global Ford styling cues while sharing its platform with the Ford Focus.
Power for the new model comes from a 1.5-liter four-cylinder, although Ford doesn't specify just how much power is on offer, simply saying that the fuel economy of the new mill will be "outstanding." It's unclear what transmission will be distributing the engine's power, although based on the images we've seen, the Escort will definitely offer a two-pedal setup.
The layout of the cabin is fairly clean, although as we mentioned in our initial post on the new Escort, it's a decidedly sparser environment than we've grown use to in US-spec Fords of late. If anything, it's like a weird blend of current Ford switchgear with an overall look that reminds us of older Ford layouts. Still, it looks like a comfortable way of moving five people about without too much fuss. There's ample space both front and rear, and a rather spacious trunk.
