1967 Ford Galaxie 428 - 7 litre Convertible

First of all...  If you noticed, I had to list this car under the "Galaxie" name, but for you knowledgeable individuals, you know that the "Galaxie" name was dropped for the "XL" series in 1967 for the 7 Litre sports package.  So without restating the obvious, you now the '66 7 Litre was a model and the '67 7 litre was an option "Q" code with the 428 engine.

As for my car, you won't be dissapointed with this vehicle...  It is a low mileage original condition convertible that was a low production number for '67.     This car was special ordered from the Oklahoma City district, and sold through Fred Jones Ford of Tulsa to Doenges Bros. Ford in Bartlesville, OK.  I have tons of documents verifying the originality of the car along with the Marti Report verifying this data.

1967 saw very few 7 litre convertibles and even fewer Raven Black with Red Interior...   I purchased this car from the 2nd Owners Widow a few years back and have that information as well...  The car has always been garaged and has never been wrecked... the paint is a 9+ out of 10... The interior is a 8 out of 10... with it having a dash pad over the original pad...  It looks fine, but is not a 10.

If you don't know about 7 litres, you should do your research to verify how these cars have increased in value.  Last month, a '67 Hardop sold for over 45K...  it was the only one that came from the factory with A/C...

I have posted a lot of pictures... taken over the years, and will post some more soon...  the underneath is as clean as the top... and the trunk is flawless...  I put new tires on last year, so you can fly in and drive home...

You sould just pick up the phone and call me for more informaton that I can possible put here on paper... 918 346 3593 "Jack"

2013 Ford Mustang V6

Mon, 10 Jun 2013

Secretary Trim, Evolved
There was a time not so long ago when opting for a base Ford Mustang meant getting little more than some sheetmetal, an anemic four-cylinder engine and what may very well have been the world's most disappointing automatic transmission. During the Fox Body years, Ford seemed hell-bent on living up to Carroll Shelby's derogatory description of the coupe as little more than a runabout for demure office assistants, and the result was a base model with fewer sporting intentions than a Dilbert day calendar.
Some 20 years later, hopping behind the wheel of an entry-level pony is an entirely different experience. With all of the menacing aesthetics of the brawnier GT, a well-equipped interior and a drivetrain that toes the line between efficiency and power better than few before it, the 2013 Ford Mustang V6 is an attractive option for buyers in the big coupe market. But is it attractive enough to forgo the beastly GT?

Ford gets colorful with Mustang anniversary infographic

Thu, 24 Oct 2013

Preparing to celebrate its 50th birthday, the Ford Mustang has seen a lot of vehicle trends come and go, and this especially goes for paint colors. Using historical production data, Ford has managed to create an infographic dating back to 1967 that breaks down the three top Mustang colors for each year as well as calling out some of the more interesting trends and colors over the years.
Over its five generations, the Mustang has been offered in a seemingly endless rainbow - from Playboy Pink in '67 and color-changing Mystichrome on the 2004 Cobra - but the most popular has always been red, which is the color of choice for 21 percent of all Mustangs ever made. Almost every year since 1967, red has been among the top three colors for the Mustang, but other popular colors have included blue, white, brown and, most recently, black. There are even websites and registries available for people owning certain-color Mustangs.
As the all-new 2015 Mustang gets ready for its debut later this year, there's no telling what kind of exciting and/or wacky colors Ford has in store. Click on the image above to see the full infographic (choose the "large" option for optimal viewing), or check it out in a smaller size along with the press release posted below.

Ford-sponsored survey says a third of Brits have snapped a 'selfie' while driving [w/videos]

Fri, 08 Aug 2014

Talking on the phone while driving isn't advisable, and texting while driving is downright dangerous. Considering those truths, the fact that we even need to point this out this is incredibly disturbing: taking "selfies" while behind the wheel is exceptionally stupid. But, it's a thing that a third of 18- to 24-year-old British drivers have copped to doing, according to a new study from Ford.
Ford, through its Driving Skills for Life program, surveyed 7,000 smartphone owners from across Europe, all aged between 18 and 24, and found that young British drivers were more likely to snap a selfie while behind the wheel than their counterparts in Germany, France, Romania, Italy, Spain and Belgium.
According to the study, the average selfie takes 14 seconds, which, while traveling at 60 miles per hour, is long enough to travel over the length of nearly four football fields (the Ford study uses soccer fields, but we translated it to football, because, you know, America). That's an extremely dangerous distance to not be focused on the road.
