You are bidding on my 1927 Ford Track T Roadster. I have had many cars over the years from muscle cars, sport cars, and currently have four hot rods. I can honestly say that none of them have performed and been as much fun to drive as this car. It was computer designed and totally built by a mechanical engineer friend. Frame and suspension were designed with performance as a top priority. Has large Wilwood disc brakes on all four wheels, wide tires, 350 Chevy crate motor coupled to a 4 speed Muncie trans, which is shifted between your legs (sounds uncomfortable but is not at all). Power is transferred to a 9 inch Ford triangulated rear end. Built with many race car parts including power rack and pinon steering. Body is glass, has nice race car steering wheel, and all Stewart Warner gauges. Car has no top, no doors, no radio and everything in it is for performance. That being said my wife and I drove it over 2000 miles on a trip to Canada and loved it, it is really quite comfortable. It has incredible acceleration coupled with the handling of a Porsche Carrera. I just had the car painted with flat black paint, not primer, with gloss black rims. I will be seventy years old shortly and getting in and out is not as easy as it once was. Toyota sells six of 10 of hybrids in California
Wed, 31 Jul 2013In an apparent shot back at Ford's increasing market share of electrified vehicles and claim that it accepts more Prius trade-ins for its own hybrids than any other car, Toyota has flexed a muscle and played the numbers game to put the Blue Oval in its place.
Leaning on its hybrid market dominance in California, the Japanese automaker stated that six out of 10 hybrids sold in the Golden State are Toyota models. And it keeps coming: Year-to-date through May 2013, Toyota sold five times more hybrids than Ford. One of every two hybrids in California is a Prius model. In addition, Toyota notes that it has sold 1.5 million Prius vehicles in the US, 90-percent of which are still on the road today.

Tanner Foust gets eponymous hotted-up Ford Focus ST from Cobb Tuning
Thu, 14 Mar 2013Racer and Top Gear USA host Tanner Foust has partnered up with Cobb Tuning to create a special-edition Ford Focus ST. The limited-edition hatches will come packing a reflashed ECU, special intercooler, tweaked intake and freer-flowing exhaust for up to 20 percent more power than the stock creation. Cobb says that the changes should push the final dyno figure to above 300 horsepower. Buyers can also expect to find special carbon fiber aerodynamic bits on board along with a new grille, graphics and wheels. Cobb hasn't released pricing on this Tanner Foust Edition Ford Focus ST as of yet, but you can bet the whole kit won't be cheap.
Fortunately, the company will sell you bits and pieces from the overall package for your Ford, and word has it engineers are also whipping up a Foust Fiesta ST. Next Ford F-150 delayed for aluminum body panel issues?
Wed, 11 Dec 2013The timetable for next-generation Ford F-150 may be in trouble if a report from The Truth About Cars is true. The next F-150 is slated to make extensive use of weight-saving aluminum in its body, but the aluminum alloy provided by suppliers hasn't met Ford's requirements in the earliest phases of pre-production, according to the report.
The F-150 represents a huge portion of Ford's profits and is the best-selling truck in the US, even in the face of increased pressure from cross-town rivals General Motors and Ram. While the current truck is treading water against its competition, we'd be lying if we said the F-150 weren't growing quite long in the tooth.
If production of the next-generation of the Ford cash cow, said to be based on the Atlas Concept from the 2013 Detroit Auto Show (pictured above), is delayed, it could be bad for Ford. Production at Ford's Dearborn Truck Plant is already set to be delayed six to ten weeks, missing an internal on-sale deadline of Memorial Day.
