HERE WE HAVE A GREAT CAR IN THE FORM OF A GT 350 TRIBUTE 1966 MUSTANG. THIS CAR IS A REAL NICE EXAMPLE OF THE 350 GT. LOVELY PAINT WORK (DONE A WHILE AGO) BUT LOOKS FANTASTIC, NOT A DING OR A MARK ON IT. CAR DRIVES EXTREMELY WELL, ITS GOT THE 289 SMALLBLOCK 4.7 V8, WITH A 3 SPEED AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION COUPLED TO AN 8 3/4 REAR END. ITS GOT AIR CONDITIONING AS YOU CAN SEE, AND UNDERNEATH THE CAR IS VERY GOOD WITH NO RUST. ALL THE MECHANICS ARE IN EXCELLENT WORKING ORDER, AND THE ENGINE HAS GOOD OIL PRESSURE AND RUNS STRONG NO SMOKE, VERY POWERFUL. I'M SURE ITS GOT A NICE CAM AND OTHER BITS LOADED IN THERE, AS IT FLYS UP THE ROAD. INSIDE HAS A LOVELY PONY INTERIOR, FOLD DOWN REAR SEAT, GOOD HEADLINER AND CARPET.

More 2015 Ford Mustang pricing information leaks [UPDATE]
Tue, 20 May 2014The big news this morning was that the 2015 Ford Mustang would start at $24,425, including its destination pricing. The big news this afternoon is, well, bigger.
Mustang6G.com has come up with what it claims is pricing info for the entire Mustang line, rather than just the V6. That means we know all about the EcoBoost and GT prices now, which, when combined with the dealer order sheets we reported on last week, gives us our clearest look yet at how the Mustang can be outfitted (we're still a bit short on pricing info for some standalone options, like paint premiums and such).
The base EcoBoost starts at $25,995, while the GT rings up at $32,925.
Last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible nets $500k for charity at Barrett-Jackson [w/video]
Tue, 13 Aug 2013The last 2014 Ford Shelby GT500 Convertible was sold on Saturday at a Barrett-Jackson auction in Reno, Nevada, for $500,000. Ford donated the Mustang to be auctioned for charity, and all of the money is going to the Brain Injury Association of America.
Parnelli Jones, winner of the 1963 Indianapolis 500, was there on behalf of the BIAA with his son Page, who suffered a brain injury in a sprint car crash in 1994. The bidding increased quickly, reaching $500k in no time, spreading a bit more hope to people who live with brain injuries.
The winning bidder will be able to choose the GT500's exterior, interior and stripe colors, and is scheduled to receive the car, signed by Parnelli Jones in appreciation for the donation, by the end of 2013. Watch the video below to see the auction-block action.
NHTSA and Ford investigating steering issues in Crown Vic, Grand Marquis and Marauder
Fri, 11 Jul 2014There may be more steering woes for the Ford Crown Victoria. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has opened a preliminary evaluation into the Crown Vic and Mercury Grand Marquis from the 2004 to 2007 model years and the Mercury Marauder for the 2004 and 2005 model years because the steering shaft can jam. The issue could potentially affect an estimated 500,000 vehicles.
According to the regulator, there is a possibility that the driver's side heat shield for the exhaust manifold can rust, dislodge, and then wedge into the steering shaft. If this occurs, it leads to a situation where the driver can no longer control the car.
NHTSA has received five complaints of this happening, including one alleged case with an injury. In that situation, the car was driving onto the highway, lost control and rolled over. One occupant was hurt in the accident.
