Offered for sale is my 1969 Ford Mustang Coupe, Lte. 600. My loss will be your gain as this is a very clean great car for the ask price. I am not the original owner of this vehicle. I purchased the car about 3 years ago as a father/son project vehicle and did lots of work to it to get it running and driving. I have nearly $15K into this vehicle and want to sell it to someone who can complete what we started. The vehicle is not equipped with the original motor or transmission. This vehicle, as best as I can tell from my research, was originally equipped with a 3 speed manual transmission and strait 6 cylinder motor. When I bought it, it was equipped with a 351 Cleveland motor (1972) and 3 speed manual transmission, and it did not run. I put a new 2 barrel Holly carb and new distributor, coil, and fuel pump. It runs strong now and I also replaced the manual transmission with a 1972 Rebuilt C-4 automatic transmission and added a B&M racing (rachet) shifter. I completely rebuilt the front end with all new parts and had metal work done to underside ( new floor pans) and other body work done and had it painted Ford Red with black accents. It has an original factory installed hood scoop with the turn indicator lights in scoop, similar to those on the Ford Torino. I installed a new headliner and carpeting and have many other parts included with the sale (see pic). I added a power brake booster to the manual drum brakes system. Vehicle has all four wheel drum brakes and period Crager Mags on it. It is not equipped with power steering and I replaced the worn original steering wheel with an after market chrome steering wheel. My basic research indicates that this car was originally sold in New Jersey as a 600 Lt. model painted in Coral Red. This model was only offered in two colors and the red was the most popular of the two. It is a great car for someone to complete as it only needs a little work to make it an everyday driver. Vehicle runs and drives good.
Payment will be accepted via Paypal deposit and/or certified bank or cashier's check only/cash. buyer is responsible for shipping arrangements and cost and or pick up from Southern New Jersey location.
All sales are final. Thanks for looking:)

This unique '64 Mustang was Edsel Ford II's first car
Thu, 02 Jan 2014You probably had the same dream when you were a teenager. Your sixteenth birthday is coming up, or Christmas, or maybe both, and all you want is a muscle car to call your own. That dream has come true for some, and one of them was none other than Edsel Ford II.
Henry Ford's great grandson turned 16 on December 27, 1964 - two days after Christmas and eight months after the original Mustang went on sale. And that's just what was waiting for him in the driveway, courtesy of his father (and reigning chief executive) Henry Ford II.
The specially-prepared pony car had a pearlescent cream paintjob with narrow blue racing stripes, functional hood scoop, chrome trim, Euro-spec fender-mounted mirrors, a blue leather and aluminum interior, a monogrammed fuel cap... and a 289-cubic-inch V8 under the hood.
Who sold the most heavy-duty pickups in 2012? PickupTrucks.com investigates
Tue, 26 Feb 2013Domestic manufacturers enjoyed a good year for heavy-duty pickup sales in 2012. PickupTrucks.com has taken a close look at exactly how those sales broke down between each manufacturer and between three-quarter and one-ton pickups. Ford sold some 67,786 F-250 Super Duty models last year with the Chevrolet Silverado 2500 HD falling just behind at 56,359 units. The Ram 2500 HD came in third at 41,918, while the GMC Sierra 2500 HD earned itself fourth place with 27,616 deliveries. While Ford held onto the top spot in the one-ton market, Ram easily nailed down second place by selling more 3500 HD models last year than General Motors sold Silverado 3500 HD and Sierra 3500 HD trucks combined.
So, did GM manage to sell more trucks than Ford with its two brands? Very nearly. Ford sold a total of 119,338 heavy-duty pickups to GM's 111,555. Ram, meanwhile, moved a distant 77,583. But perhaps more interesting is the diesel take rate in this segment. PickupTrucks.com says 80 percent of all domestic one-ton trucks roll from the dealer lot with a turbo-diesel under the hood. Head over to the site for a closer look at the breakdown.
Ford GT to be revived, Le Mans battle upcoming
Sun, 05 Oct 2014Ford dominated the 24 Hours of Le Mans from 1966 to 1969, scoring four consecutive wins. Wouldn't it be great if the Blue Oval could go back to France for the 50th anniversary of that performance and show it can still compete in international endurance racing? Actually, the latest rumors indicate that could be exactly the case, and the car taking that checkered flag could be another revival of the Ford GT.
As the rumblings go, Ford wants to use a new supercar to take another crack at Le Mans, after considering some other possible alternatives. Substantiating these musings are reports that a Blue Oval rep was reportedly on hand for a recent meeting about 2016 GTE-Class rules, according to Road and Track. That would put the new GT in the same racing class as the Corvette, Ferrari 458 Italia, Porsche 911 and others.
It's not all about racing, though. If you win on Sunday, you want something to be able to sell on Monday. The revived GT is reportedly still a mid-engine supercar, but the exact engine is unclear. It's possible that it could even be shown or announced at the Detroit auto show in January, according to Motor Trend.
